Beech is an all-seasons remake of an iconic Jamestown gathering place. Conceived by a group of Jamestown locals who wanted to give their community a restaurant that feels like home. Kevin and his team are serving up inspired creations across 5 dining areas that run the gamut from a lively bar scene to intimate, twinkle-light dining. Requests for seating, be it outdoor seating in season or room requests during the colder months is a request only and not guaranteed. Beech will try and accommodate your request if there is seating available at the time of your reservation.In case of inclement weather, Beech will make every effort to accommodate reservations and move the reservation inside, however such accommodations cannot be guaranteed based on Beech's inside capacity. All of our dishes are house-made with the freshest ingredients and we proudly support our local farmers and fishermen. We are housed in an original Quonset Hut, built in 1942 as part of the US Navy’s PT-Boat Training Center at Melville. The space was converted into a restaurant over 30 years ago and began operation as The Gulf Stream Bar and Grille in May 2016.
