The Bricklayers Arms is a delightful lakeside public house, comprising three terraced cottages in a charming Kent village. The pub is situated at the end of the picturesque Darent Valley Walk. The sign represents Sir Winston Churchill, an expert bricklayer and whose home was at nearby Chartwell. We pride ourselves on getting involved with the local community and providing a warm and friendly welcome to our visitors. We serve Harvey's Best Bitter straight from the barrel, a fantastic range of wine and beautifully home cooked British pub food. Located opposite the Chipstead Sailing Lake, we are perfectly positioned for a warm bowl of soup after a walk, a summer cider on the green, or a comforting meal in front of our real, open log fire.
Open Tuesday to Sunday with food served all day from noon.We now have 3 Giant heated Tipis, they provide lots of fresh air and a lovely open environment, they are also heated.Formerly an 18th Century farmhouse boasting exposed beams, oak floors, exposed brickwork and oak tables. This leads to a very relaxed and cosy atmosphere with candle lit tables and real flame stoves. The cuisine is typically modern European, classically cooked using cornerstones such as stock pots to create their sauces with a brigade that has a passion for what they do. This is exciting times for the pub which now has a new bar serving real ale straight from the cask. Be sure to check out the website regularly to keep up with the latest events and offers.

Welcome to The Warren Restaurant, an extension of The Crowborough Estate, holding stock of Sussex Cattle, Boer Goats, Fallow deer, and Wild boar amongst others which the restaurant draws on for its menu. We are a Dog Friendly restaurant. Given the provenance, the kitchen predominantly cooks British food, occasionally dipping into other cuisines to provide a vehicle for flavours – nettle gnocchi for example, or poached oyster with wild boar chorizo.WE wanted a unique fun and informal restaurant, to offer their Crowborough Estate’s produce from. When the site of the renowned Signor Franco’s became available, with those iconic arched windows of its orangery and glorious terrace overlooking the Spa town, the stage was set. Please email us contact@thewarren.restaurant (our call line & online booking system will reopen from 1st August)Your SincerelyMagdalena & Martin
