Higher Ground is a bistro and bar located in Manchester city centre that focuses on seasonality within the UK using produce sourced from local suppliers and producers. The restaurant is open Wed-Sat at dinner and Thurs-Sat lunch. From 14th November ’24, Higher Ground is opening on Thursday lunchtimes and is now open from 5pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays!At lunch a £40pp seasonal sharing menu is offered alongside an à la carte menu.     We went on a Sunday at 5 so it was not too busy. I have been on other nights when it has been extremely busy. This was a lovely afternoon. We opted for the Sunday Roast which was delicious. We chose the steak and salmon and both meals were lovely. This is a stunning restaurant and has a really good vibe. Staff are very attentive and make you feel pampered and special. I would definitely recommend and come again.

    The best Italian in mcr - with the most delightful staff! Well our meal at salvis was 4th date and wow I could not have picked a better place! The food was classic Italian , the service was also classic Italian, nothing was too much trouble - it was the stage for an amazing night

    We had a great experience for our anniversary yesterday. We had the premium bottomless brunch. The food was amazing and we had so much of it. The drinks were great and came so quickly. The service was super slick and really friendly. And they were playing great music and people were up and dancing. It was the best bottomless brunch I’ve been to in Manchester and definitely worth paying a little bit extra for!
