Mushroom is a cozy French restaurant that emphasizes the use of mushrooms in the dishes. Mushroom offers several dinner choices, such as the prefix course menu with four or five dishes or an a la carte option as well as the specialty Omakase course of mushroom Dzukushi. Inspired by the soft light given off by the moon, the creators of Tsuki have designed its elaborately decorated and sophisticated dining room with dimmed, intimate lighting. Featuring primarily grilled foods, Tsuki places emphasis on the importance of hospitality and quality. Tsuki’s à la carte menu options include favorites like grilled rice balls with dried sardines and perilla, salmon and maitake mushroom donabe rice, sesame blancmange and chicken junwakei soup. Set menu meals include three courses that take the guests on a dining adventure. Add a glass of wine, beer or other spirit to complete the flavor experience. Tsuki’s private rooms are available for special celebrations and events, while the full bar offers a place to casually socialize and mingle with others.

    One of the best meals in my life, and I have a lot of experience. The chef was funny, kind, and an artist. The food was really special, all the ingredients were sourced from wherever the food originates from and ordered freshly days before. We had raw whale as sashimi, and fresh porcini muchrooms cooked in an incredible soup, and special rice that he even used the water from the area that the rice came from to cook it. Everything was special and incredible but also his design was amazing. One of the dishes came in a picnic basket with leaves and flowers from the season decorating it. And another had the flowers in season added into the cup that held the dish. The place is also about 6 seats so very important

    前菜からデザートまで、いろんなキノコがたっぷりであまり食べたことのないようなキノコまで、美味しくいただきました。季節のキノコのソテーは必須ですね。 ごちそうさまでした!

    Very strange that I’m coming to Tokyo to enjoy American steak but Empire is a quick walk from my Roppongi hotel and the service here is top notch fantastic. It’s also friendly for solo diners and many of the salads and sides can be ordered half-size. They also carry my favorite Napa Merlot by Duckhorn. Head waiter Ito-san is about as professional and old-school as you can find anywhere these days …….all I can say is that Empire is worth the visit and cost because sometimes, no matter where you are, that craving for a juicy, rare, grass-fed USDA prime cut of beef must be fulfilled, with extreme perfection!!
