Located in historic Blagden Alley in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood since 2015, The Dabney continues to pay tribute to the wonderful farmers, watermen, and purveyors of the mid-Atlantic region whom provide some of the best and most unique products in the country. We celebrate these ingredients by preparing them in a large wood burning hearth which is the centerpiece of our open kitchen. The staff was outstanding and the food was great. Although it was Christmas day, the meal was served at a perfect pace. No hurry even though the restaurant was completely booked. I highly recommend the restaurant and will return with additional guests.

I discovered this restaurant from Instagram. An influencer recommended as a hot new spot in MD. From the moment you walk in the door, I appreciated the vibe, the design of the restaurant, and the welcoming staff. I ordered an omelet w/ seafood - delicious (9/10). Our dining host (Telfie) was so nice! 😊 We had an opportunity to chat with him about the restaurant and some of the top dishes chosen by other customers. He was wonderful (10/10). I will definitely be back in to try out other items on the menu and maybe a drink :)

My experience was great. The serves were kind. The jerk chicken lollipops and Caesar Salad were my favorite. The croutons in the salad melted in my mouth.I enjoyed the Snow Crab Asian Garlic noodles. I wish it had more crab meat and that was it a bit more spicier. I had a mango mocktail , it was sooo good! I wanted to take it home.
