Meilleurs restaurants chaleureux à Wokingham

Not sure how long The Beehive has been under new ownership and converted to an Indian fusion restaurant but I have to say the experience was excellent, service, food and overall setting. Rather quiet on a Wednesday lunchtime but it was well worth the visit.

Very good genuine Turkish food. They use a real charcoal grill, and you can sure taste the difference. The set lunch has a huge choice. And excellent value. Beautifully presented. They take so much trouble to make your lunch special. 5 star service. This is a very smart restaurant and the wash rooms are immaculate. Demonstrates the care they take over the simplest things.

Four of us in for lunch and every dish was excellent. Venison sausages, cheese and bacon burger and a Thai chicken green curry. Two of us had the brioche bread & butter pudding. With drinks and coffees plus tip it was £37.50 per head which was good value. Service was very good, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was just right for a Saturday afternoon, relaxed and the sound of people chatting and enjoying themselves.

Both had the Cantley Burger, very nice but fries were bland - bring back the chunky chips.
