Welcome to The Warren Restaurant, an extension of The Crowborough Estate, holding stock of Sussex Cattle, Boer Goats, Fallow deer, and Wild boar amongst others which the restaurant draws on for its menu. We are a Dog Friendly restaurant. Given the provenance, the kitchen predominantly cooks British food, occasionally dipping into other cuisines to provide a vehicle for flavours – nettle gnocchi for example, or poached oyster with wild boar chorizo.WE wanted a unique fun and informal restaurant, to offer their Crowborough Estate’s produce from. Lunch for 2. Excellent location, comfortable and welcoming environment, tables nicely spaced, well thought-out menu and specials, good cooking, portions and presentation on the plate, decent wine list at sensible prices, charming staff, not rushed although we lingered until gone 5pm, overall a very satisfying and enjoyable experience. Value for money and highly recommended.

Excellent in every way. Friendly service with just the right level of attentiveness. And the food! The beef roast dinner was one of the best I’ve had in a restaurant and the Spiced Pumpkin Tart and Raspberry Pavlova.. amazing!
