Ce nouveau restaurant constitue la seconde ouverture d'Albert, petit frère du Albert's Shed à Castlefield, dans le centre-ville de Manchester. Le nouvel espace, qui a été créé sur l'ancien site du pub Barleycorn sur Barlow Moor Road à Didsbury, vise à offrir au sud de Manchester un espace de repas moderne et soigné doté d'une salle à manger pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 160 personnes en intérieur mais aussi 60 personnes sur sa fabuleuse terrasse extérieure idéale pour manger en plein air l'été. Le menu est d'influence moderne britannique et doté d'un mélange éclectique de classiques du monde entier et de spécialités d'Albert. Chaque plat est exclusivement basé sur des ingrédients frais et locaux.     Lovely relaxed atmosphere even though nice and bustly! The waiters were very knowledgeable and gave lots of advise on the menu! Food was amazing!! Every mouthful was delicious! Left Fold feeling happy and very full!

    A family get together (5 diners) on a Friday lunchtime. Good service and food enjoyed by all. Ambience was good but the restaurant was not busy. The second time we have dined here and both times have been excellent.

    Food was very nice, not overly big portions, did feel was expensive for what we had £213 for 4 adults and two children (who ate off kids menu) for just main meals and poppadoms seems a tad excessive but suspect prices are inflated due to being in Prestbury village don’t remember it being this expensive when based in Poynton.

    First time there and service is friendly and welcoming, food feels very homely and is lovely. Pricing is more than fair and makes for a perfect date night! Would definitely recommend
