Ce nouveau restaurant constitue la seconde ouverture d'Albert, petit frère du Albert's Shed à Castlefield, dans le centre-ville de Manchester. Le nouvel espace, qui a été créé sur l'ancien site du pub Barleycorn sur Barlow Moor Road à Didsbury, vise à offrir au sud de Manchester un espace de repas moderne et soigné doté d'une salle à manger pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 160 personnes en intérieur mais aussi 60 personnes sur sa fabuleuse terrasse extérieure idéale pour manger en plein air l'été. Le menu est d'influence moderne britannique et doté d'un mélange éclectique de classiques du monde entier et de spécialités d'Albert. Chaque plat est exclusivement basé sur des ingrédients frais et locaux.     So pleased we visited this delightful bistro in Marple. We took the train from Manchester having seen their Instagram feed - the menu looked great. It did not disappoint. The menu was small plates and we had 8 between 4 of us. The oysters are a must try! Every dish was explained and unrushed. Perfect and attentive service and just a really friendly place where the style and food totally hit the spot!! Thanks Fold we thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

    Food was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A bit noisy where we were sitting. Had to remind them of the second round of drinks we’d ordered.

    Good value, friendly staff. Pretty standard pub menu, tasty enough and at these prices you can’t expect everything freshly cooked to order. Nice experience overall

    First time there and service is friendly and welcoming, food feels very homely and is lovely. Pricing is more than fair and makes for a perfect date night! Would definitely recommend
