Upstairs at Landrace is a casual neighbourhood bar & bistro, our food is led by ingredients which are carefully sourced from local farms and market gardens, we work with producers who have a natural approach to growing and use regenerative, high welfare farming techniques. The menu regularly features handmade pasta, line-caught Cornish fish and meat from Haye Farm in Devon, and Huntsham Farm in Herefordshire.You can join us for a quick plate of pasta at lunchtime or a longer celebratory meal with friends & family in the evening. Our menu changes regularly, you can find sample menus updated weekly on our website.The wine/cider list changes regularly, focusing on small European growers and makers. We are located on the beautiful Argyle Street just over Pulteney Bridge and our smaller dining room, which can also be booked for private dining, overlooks Pulteney Weir. We have a carefully chosen wine list and an interesting selection of drinks. Bookings of 5-6 will be seated either in our Main Restaurant or Private Dining Room.     What a little gem! Lovely atmosphere, good family food, nicely decorated. A good place to go between Bristol and Bath.

    Lovely place to eat. Very tasty food, although lunch menu was a bit restricted. Service was very friendly and efficient. Very convenient to take a relative who is in the care home in the same building. We will return.

    Helen and the team were so accommodating ! Even went out of way to provide gluten free mushy pease so I could have the fish and chips gluten free . Lovely food reasonably priced . The open log fire was lovely especially on a cold winters evening . Our dog was even catered for and spoiled 😂

    Service was quite quick for food, slow on hot drinks. Took ages to clear away dirty plates, had to ask in the end when brought our 2nd drinks but they only took away half & forgot to return for rest. 2 people had pancakes & said very nice but a lot of pancake & not much syrup - some fruit/berries & yogurt with it would have been nice. The smoothie wasn’t freshly made & had separated in the container & even after mixing up again still kept separating making it taste a little odd.
