Our Team is excited to welcome you to The Shed Restaurant. Reservations are essential via the above booking portal. Credit card details are required at the time of booking for large groups however no funds are taken prior to your reservation. A $40 no-show fee is charged only without sufficient notice period of 12hrs. Whilst we love them, we cannot accomodate bookings for pets. Bookings of 2 - 7 can enjoy our a la carte menu offering.Bookings of 8+ adult guests are required to dine on our Feasting Menu $84pp. Our Chefs cater to all preferences and dietary requirements wherever possible, please alert your waitstaff on arrival. Note for all tables confirmed on an a la carte basis will unusually receive longer than normal service times.Please include Children in your total number of guests when making a booking and leave a note for the restaurant when completing your reservation. Childrens menu is available.A 10% surcharge applies on weekends / 20% on public holidays.

We are thrilled to have recommenced dining in, for breakfast & lunch, seven days a week from the 29th of October. Numbers are very limited & for this reason there are a couple of changes to the way we do things.- BREAKFAST service daily between 8.30am -10:45am. LUNCH service daily between 12.00pm -3.30pm. Bookings will be staggered during these service times. With inside numbers currently so limited & our weather being so unpredictable, some areas outside will be walk in only & unfortunately some will have no ‘plan B’ for inclement weather. A place that feels like home.. I don't mean that in a sense that the place is covered in dog hair, the tv is blaring, the kids are screaming and there's lego all over the floor; more in a sense that you feel welcomed, content and at home from the minute you enter, right up until you leave. We wanted to create a place, that I myself, would want to visit on a regular basis. A place where your name is more important to us than your money is. A place where you feel like a regular from your first visit. A place where you feel like a part of our family. A place you felt you've been before. A place that feels like home.... Ok, so we have fancy wine glasses, twinkling candles, nice chairs and really shiny cutlery, but don't let that fool you... We're humble, both in our service and in our food, and pretentiousness and oversized egos were banished from the premises the day we started trading. We like looking the part, but life's too short for airs and graces...

Breakfast & global dishes made with local produce, plus small-batch coffee, served in a cosy cafe.Overlooking the Rosebud foreshore, Hobson combines art deco charm with the sleek, contemporary style of a modern cafe. The latter may evoke a sense of familiarity among weekenders visiting from Melbourne, but it’s also a solid hint at the pedigree behind this place.The Only Hospitality Group (Bentwood, Stanley and Hotel Collingwood) took over and refreshed the site at the end of 2021, retaining the textured curves and decorative fluting on the building’s historic facade.Inside is bright and airy with polished concrete and soft timbers throughout. The space seats 120 comfortably between two expansive dining rooms, with curb-side picnic tables shaded by beach umbrellas setting the scene outside.

    Morning Sun is a fantastic little gem in Main Ridge, operated by truly wonderful, thoughtful people. A 'sister operation' to Foxeys Hangout, this truly reminded us of some fantastic little vineyards in Italy. Whilst experiencing an outstanding lunch at Morning Sun, my wife suddenly felt faint and collapsed. The care extended to us by Ben and his team, aided by a doctor dining at the next table, went beyond outstanding hospitality ... it was absolute care and kindness. Foxeys Hangout is great, but if you have time, say g'day to Ben (a really, really nice gentleman from Lyon, France), at Morning Sun and you will enjoy a wonderful experience. But let me acknowledge Tony Lee from Foxeys, who came up to Morning Sun as the ambulance was leaving and offered to drive me to the hospital. How good is that! As I said, this is not just first-class hospitality ... this is sheer kindness and care for others. But don't forget the tasting lunch ... it's fantastic. We (until my wife passed out), are not great fish eaters. No probs. The menu was adjusted for us and EVERYThING offered was brilliant.

    Great food - just a little under staffed. But overall will definitely be heading back. Just a busy time of year.
