In 2016 the Old School BBQ was born, using a freshly imported 1982 Bluebird International American school bus from Arizona as a mobile kitchen.The bus was converted from a traditional seated bus to a fully functional kitchen, with smokers and griddles to cook low and slow BBQ food. The OSB journey had begun, trading from humble beginnings on a local pub car park in Failsworth. Our little yellow bus soon became a familiar landmark and we became more and more popular with lunch goers who wanted freshly prepared, appetising food served with a smile. Soon demand meant that we would be more often than not greeting our customers with a "sold out" sign, so it was time to expand.So here we are, with a covered seated area serving our firm favourites, complemented with a fully licenced bar and WC facilities... did we mention the stage? That's right, we also provide live music from various acts from near and far - we are sure you will find our eatery to be like no other!

Sitting on the corner of Hilton and Tariff street in Manchester’s lively Northern Quarter, The Pen and Pencil takes its name and inspiration from the infamous mid-20th Century bar on East 45th Street in New York.Open seven days a week from 10am until late, the restaurant and bar not only offers a variety of beverages including cocktails, beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks, but focuses on its strong day time offering with great breakfast, brunch and lunch options as well as quality coffee and freshly blended smoothies.The Pencil and Pencil has an array of events throughout the month with a resident DJ to get the party started every weekend, a weekly quiz night on a Tuesday, and its sell-out Bottomless Brunches! It also offers a private room for corporate event and celebrations.. Unfortunately, we are unable o serve guests with Coeliacs due to the risk of cross contamination.

Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times. This was our first visit, we went with some friends and had brunch and we weren't disappointed; the staff were brilliant, the food was cooked fresh, well presented and was very tasty. We have been telling friends about this great cafe and will defiantly go back, possibly next time for coffee and cake and again to try an evening meal.

Excellent food and service, the burgers were delicious and the menu has lots of unusual and interesting choices. There is a lovely lively atmosphere in the restaurant. We’ll definitely go back again.

The fact is we were running 15 mins late I rang and was assured that the table will be reserved for us. When we got there the atmosphere was electric . They gave us a seat at a corner table and were obstructed from seeing the centre stage . We kindly asked to be moved and they did move us to a more suitable booth. The food was delicious , I ordered Sea Bass and I can say one of the best I have tasted so far. Entertainment was really good.
