Reservations are for food bookings only – all drinks are first come, first served. Not trying too hard, not overly complicated, and EXACTLY what you are looking for; our menu is the fox's knees. We have got a great selection of Scottish beers on tap, and have recently created an extensive cocktail menu for you to sip on while you catch up with friends. From the kitchen, you can expect feel good pub dishes with a twist made from fresh, seasonal ingredients – we think yer granny would even approve! On a busy evening the week before Christmas, we were accommodated at a large table, and adding to the numbers on the night wasn't a problem to the staff present. We were grateful to have a table in the room adjacent to the bar, where we could still feel the lively bar atmosphere but it was peaceful enough to hear our conversations. The food and drinks were served promptly and were of high quality. We appreciated the selection of small plates, which created a more relaxed vibe instead of a formal meal. Overall it was a lovely experience and I would recommend to anyone looking for a quality venue in the heart of the city, and we hope to return again soon.

Good location in town centre. Perfect for a pre theatre meal. Small plates a great way to try different things. Great quality food.
