Le Central is a French bistro, focusing on modern interpretations of classic dishes featuring local products from Sakonnet Lobsters, Four Town Farm (Seekonk, MA), Walker's Farm (Barrington, RI), Scott the Bassman, and Little Rhody Eggs (Foster, RI). Low lighting, checkerboard floor tiling, glass tabletops, and French nu-Jazz provide an intimate yet warm and familiar atmosphere. Chef-owner Jesse James spent his early career in Boston, working with chefs Moncef Meddeb at L'Espalier and Jasper White at Jasper's, with further experience at other landmark restaurants in New York, France, and Italy. Le Central is the third restaurant he has designed, built, and operated, after Aperto (Est 1992) and Boca Rotis (Est 1997), both in San Francisco. The large painting by Inez Storer on the south wall of the restaurant (which also serves as our logo) is of Jesse's son, Sam (the current General Manager & Beverage Director), and his childhood dog, Skye. Inez wouldn't say who the guy in the chair is.
Quitos Restaurant is a casual family venue located on Bristol harbor. We accept walk-ins as well as reservations. We will send a text to the phone number that was used to make your reservation once your table is ready for you. We only hold tables for reservation/and waitlist parties for 15 mins after the time you have booked or messaged your table is ready. We may not be able to seat you should you arrive late so please arrive on time. We do not require our guests or staff to wear masks if they are fully vaccinated. Tapas originated in Andalucia, a Southern province of Spain, and are considered a fundamental way of life. These tasty small dishes are traditional Spanish dishes found in every bar, cafe, restaurant, and home. A tapa is an appetizer or snack in Spanish cuisine that can be combined to make a full meal and can be cold (such as mixed olives and cheese) or hot (such as gambas al ajillo (shrimp in garlic) or patatas bravas). We wanted to bring this culinary experience to the heart of East Greenwich creating a shareable experience, transporting our guests to Southern Spain with a variety of diverse flavors and wine pairings that will entice their tastebuds.
