The service and welcome is the first thing that hits you, before the style and then the diverse range of the South Woodford crowd, quietly and authenticity cool. Cocktails followed and then the food which is a cut above the usual Indian restaurant. Starters are really interesting, exciting to kick off the range of spices to be tasted. Mains offer offfer a beautiful quality of sauces, flavour the saffron rice added texture and gentle flavour. There are also some interesting fish dishes. Brilliant local restaurant - great cocktails, great food, warm & attentive service

We had a wonderful night at Lakehouse and were so well looked after. The food was excellent and great value. The menu is full of delicious dishes so we found it difficult to choose but were really happy with what we ordered and vow to go back to try the rest! The chicken with mini dumplings was particularly good, as many people have said, as was the pancake and cheese bites. The grilled mixed vegetables were great too and all the sauces that went with everything were superb. We really couldn’t fault it. Thank you, we will be back.

Love this place every time. Great pizza and beer. Staff really friendly. Will always come back for more.
