Sète (named after the coastal town in France) is a wine bar, shop, and kitchen. Our doors opened to the wine bar in October 2022 and the restaurant and garden in July 2023. The seasonal menu focuses on modern European cooking with a heavy French influence, highlighting the best produce Kent has to offer. Wine is certainly at the heart of what we love. With an ever evolving list that highlights old world classics, accessible natural wines, female winemakers and exciting next generation vintners. A luxurious spot designed and built by Vacuum Studio featuring a highly pigmented colour palette inspired by our global travels. Lighting is low, volume can get high and the intimate booth seating is a perfect facilitator for conversation. Our menu is comprised of snacks, appetisers, larger plates and deserts made entirely in-house* and their flavour profiles are amplified with chillis, herbs and citrus being heavily inspired by Los Angeles' multiculturalism.Our restaurant is compact and cosy with no extra space to accommodate prams and large dogs - if you do need to bring your dog to dinner please ensure they are comfortable in a busy restaurant atmosphere and are happy sitting on your lap or fit comfortably under your table. We welcome children in the restaurant however we do not have highchairs or a children’s menu. We have tailored the room to provide a fun, grown-up and safe space for all our guests and team. Really good meal with my partner and a friend Lovely to have West Indian food with a twist. The celeriac and thyme soup was particularly nice - accompanied by warm fresh bread It was very quiet which affected the ambience but the weather was awful so that must have had an impact Service was good too

A gorgeous little restaurant. Lovely from the moment we walked in. The staff were fabulous and friendly. Amy chose our dishes and wine pairings for us from the guest chef menu, all of which was incredible and delicious!

A lovely relaxing meal , great service and the lamb shish was delicious. The lamb was so tender . Portions are huge !! Very shareable .
