                              I'm a regular customer of Fauna and I'm never disappointed. I told the som that I wasn't drinking, so he surprised me with a mocktail on the house! Ottawa staple!

                              Can't say enough good things about Fauna. Their rotating menu is always top-notch, and you can tell there has been a lot of thought put into each and every dish they serve. There may be discrepancies between what you see on their website menu and what they actually give you in the restaurant, but don't fret - if you were looking forward to trying something and they don't have it on the day, you will not be disappointed with any other selection. Personally was really interested in having their rack of lamb with pistachio pesto gnocchi, but had to "settle" (if you can call it that) for an amazing Iberian pork chop - it was fantastic. Treat yourself and try this place!

                              One of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten, and the soft shell crab was next level in its seasoning. We will definitely be back

                              Mike helped us to choose a delicious Pinot Noir wine. We started with 6 oysters, always a treat, and the roasted ghost pepper sauce was yummy enough to eat on its own. The cucumber salad had a mildly spicy sauce and the tuna tartare was so fresh. Then the rib eye steak to share was amazing - perfectly cooked, lovely crisp veggies and the beef sauce, wow. Service was attentive, timely and friendly. Always delighted to have a meal at Fauna, such consistently high quality.

                              Genuinely the best restaurant we had the privilege of attending while on our wedding trip. The staff clearly care about food, and were incredibly insightful. I do not drink alcohol and so to have a cocktail option tat was thoroughly enjoyable, and not diminishing to non-drinkers, was both meaningful and refreshing. The Menu was so hard to chose from that we asked for the staff to chose our courses and i have to say every dish that was served to us was thoughtfully prepared and immaculate. I cannot speak highly enough of the experience.

                              Always a top choice. Food preparation and presentation and the recipes are all unique and inspired. The wine list is remarkably deep and broad.

                              Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Very tasty savouries and incredible coconut/rhubarb dessert. I had boycotted coconut desserts as a child and more than half a century later, I am hooked. However, I will only trust Fauna with my nouveau penchant!
