We’ve brought a brand new menu and the authentic flavours of Naples to our Falstaff kitchen. Our deliciously moreish homemade thin-crust Neapolitan pizzas are available from Fridays to Sundays midday until 8pm. Order from our main menu or try our 2 course bottomless Brunch (Fri - Sun, 12pm - 4pm)

Relax in our beautifully refurbished lounge and enjoy one of our afternoon teas. A pot of freshly brewed loose leaf tea, freshly baked warm scones served with clotted cream and preserves, an assortment of finger sandwiches and a selection of cakes. The most awful experience!! service was terrible, I will never go back. We booked an afternoon tea as a special treat for our daughters 16th Birthday. We made a reservation for 1pm and arrived 20 minutes early, we booked in at reception and was told to wait in the bar area until the table was ready. We waited an hour, I went and asked when we would be seated, the staff member said they didn't release we was there to eat, even though I asked the same person that booked us in when we arrived!! We then got guided to our table, the waiter said he would return shortly to take our drinks order, we waited another 25 minutes but nobody came back, at this point we decided to leave. I found this unbelievable as there wasn't anybody else in the bar or restaurant, the staff couldn't even say there were busy!! I couldn't bring myself to pay £25 a head for such a bad service.

Arrived for a birthday cream tea. No mention of birthday even though it was asked when booking. Food was mediocre. Sandwiches average. Desserts were dry and non descript. Scones were delicious, service was good but chose not to pay the xtra £20 optional service charge. (A £10 tip given to the waitress). Setting was lovely, sofas in the lounge, but I wouldn’t return. There are too many other places offering excellent food and this didn’t compete.

Had a fabulous afternoon tea with tasty food and excellent service, super friendly and attentive and every need catered for. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again.

Not the best Afternoon Tea, but not the worst. It was overall ok. I think we were the only ones there, and so to not know what we had booked (sparkling afternoon tea) seemed not the best start. Cakes and sandwiches came quite quickly, scones were really good, but the sandwiches were a bit meh and the cakes weren't very exciting and very very sweet. We had to go to ask for tea as no one had come back to check if we wanted to order it, to be fair I think it was just the one person on the bar and serving, but the hotel needs to look at that.

Bland sandwiches on cheap bread fruit scones very odd flavour lemon posset tasty as was the tiny piece of shortbread

The best scones ever! Service was amazing. We were a big group yet everything went smoothly. My family adored the place.

Booked the bottomless afternoon tea which seems to be the only available food offering at this quirky hotel. Food was average and nothing particularly exciting. Apart from average sandwiches and scones, the sweet treats were basic. Service (Sara who served us was very attentive and friendly) and atmosphere were great and drinks were flowing. Lovely atmosphere for drinks with friends. Nice outside terrace in the sunshine. Would return but for drinks only.
