    Great Sunday roast. One of my favourite places in Manchester. Great, attentive service and great value.

    We took a friend's family to thier first English Roast Dinner and sadly it was a disappointment Yorkshire were Dry! Lamb was extremely undercooked (why don't they venue ask how the customer like their meat?) Roast potatoes were diabolical, so dry and way overcooked. Will never go again and if I was not entertaining friends I would have for sure not paid over £200 for a super disappointing meal!

    Second time I’ve been to Evelyn’s and cannot fault it. The food is delicious and they do very good cocktails. The staff are really friendly and it’s excellent value for money.

    We went to Evelyn's because they did a vegan roast, the roast was lovely but it was disappointing that the chef wasn't able to make a vegan cauliflower cheese despite the menu specifying that a vegan one could be prepared. We were looking forward to this on the side of our roasts but there were no real alternatives to this dish. The service was very slow and the staff were not particularly friendly, one bartender looked like they didn't want to be there (which is fine, service is a hard industry) but not really encouraging. It took over 20 minutes for someone to even take a drinks order from us and the drinks were slow to be prepared and delivered to the table. Food also took a while but it was very tasty and carefully prepared so this was understandable. Seemed like the issue were not enough staff though rather than the staff not being good at the job, and if they were busy it's understandable they weren't exactly enthusiastic about work.

    Super friendly and attentive staff. The food was beautifully presented and was very tasty. I loved the rustic vibes of the restaurant plus there was enough buzz without being too crowded. Will definitely recommend and visit again the next time I’m in Manchester.
