On a city break in Manchester, we first went to Evelyn's for brunch on Saturday morning, which was excellent. We returned last night for dinner from their "Sunday Menu" - one of the best meals we've eaten out in the last 12 months. Great service - including recommendations for places to visit from our server - superb food and fantastic Margaritas! The place is ideal for a romantic night out - subdued lighting, cool background music at a level where you could talk, the place busy enough to create a nice atmosphere. Highly recommended - on our server's suggestion we're back there again one night this week for their "weeknight" dinner menu. It won't be the last time...

Gorgeous food. Good service. Unfortunately there was a mix up with one of the orders so it took a long time to come out but it was rectified and staff were good.

Staff attentive and friendly. Plenty of space and cool interior. Food was amazing. Nice size of menu. Will definitely book a table next time I’m down in Manchester

Lovely and lovely ambience. Food was great, we loved the sharing plates. Some of the small plates were smaller than others which we would have liked to have known before we ordered given there were four of us- two scallops don’t go very far! Waitress was lovely - as the restaurant was v busy they were al working very hard but you could see they were trying to look after everyone. We really enjoyed our first visit here and will definitely be back soon!

Overall the experience was fair but I found the food really disappointing. I didn't think it was worth the money. Perhaps it was because it was a January menu with January discount but the food was cold, odd portions and the fries were substandard. limited options also. The service was good and the waitress was really kind but I probably won't be coming back for the dinner menu.

We had dinner at Evelyn's Cafe on a busy Saturday night at 7:30 PM. While the food was delicious and the staff were friendly and apologetic, the service left much to be desired. It took 40 minutes to get our first round of drinks, and several items were unavailable due to supply issues, causing further delays. However, they made amends by not charging us for a few items. Despite the hiccups, the staff’s attitude and the quality of the food somewhat redeemed the experience.

We really enjoyed visiting Evelyn's. The place has a relaxed and cosy atmosphere, the food is delicious, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Would recommend trying.

The place was a bit small and it was extremely loud. There were other empty tables, but the waiter decided to place us right next to two other customers where they were literally screaming their heads off. I booked my table in advance and they put us in this really bad spot. I would not visit again.
