    I had the cream of asparagus and grouper. Tempe soup was light, creamy, and flavorful. The grouper was cooked perfectly. There was the right amount of char/smoke for grill. The sauce was creative perfection.

    Perfect date night dinner. This place has an atmosphere that is not only relaxed but comforting. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

    We go every year when we come to Longboat Key. It was amazing as always.

    Picked Euphemia Hayes to celebrate my husband's birthday because we have always had such an exceptional meal. Our server was outstanding, knew his craft and was very pleasant and efficient. The pate was very good but the toast tidbits were too hard to bite. Fortunately, our server brought extra french bread upon which to spread the pate. The fried green tomato sauce overpowered the tomatoes and made them quite soggy. We also experienced less than excellent main courses. The lamb shank was overcooked and the potatoes were cold and had to be reheated. The veal was a bit tough but the sauce was good on bread. We have recommended this venue to many people. As with other establishments, when we experience an off night, we will not return. The cost of the meal should have delivered a higher quality culinary treat but unfortunately, disappointed us. We do hope you are able to resurrect a better quality of food.

    Wonderful food! I had been once before, but many years ago. I clearly should have been back sooner. Terrific and helpful service. I had the gorgeous lamb shank. I have a dairy allergy and they were super helpful and conscientious. Great place, recommend, and we'll be back!

    We went for my birthday and they acknowledged at least three times, extraordinary.. Food was superb . Worth the 30 mile trip .

    The bread was the best part of the meal unfortunately. Service was good, however not particularly observant. Neither my wife or I came anywhere near finishing our plates because they both tasted awful. I ordered the duck, which was overcooked and dry. The sauce was overwhelming and the flavor was not enticing. Brussel sprouts were overcooked and lacked flavor completely. The lamb was only slightly overcooked but had a terrible flavor as well. The portions were spot on, but the flavor just wasn’t there. It was especially unfortunate because we were there celebrating my Wife’s birthday. We boxed everything up in hopes that we could recook the meals with some new seasoning but trashed it all instead. Unfortunately, that poor experience led us to lose faith in the restaurant and we didn’t bother with the dessert room either. The bottle of Malbec was great. Slightly more keen service would have noticed our distaste in the food, but we didn’t feel comfortable at the lack of attention to send the plates back. We felt it would be a repeat of the same uninspired flavors.
