Ernest’s Orleans Restaurant in keeping with tradition of it’s “Old World Charm” has been serving it’s own unique style and flavors of “The Finest” US Prime Beef, Seafood, and Italian cuisine for over 60 years. It will be the pleasure of our formally trained wait staff to vocalize the exquisite “Chef Features” that are available throughout the week. Our wait staff is also knowledgeable in pairing wines that will accommodate your dining experience. Many accolades, movie stars, and dignitaries are presented in the foyer that tells the tales of many years of it’s very unique and historical “Old World Charm” in serving “The Finest” New Orleans style cuisine.

    Great place to enjoy fine dining. Earnest's has been around for decades and always creates the perfect experience for family or for that special date....food is excellent!

    The only issue we encountered was that we had reservations for 645pm and didn’t get seated till around 720. Overall it was nice. I would still recommend this restaurant to others.

    Good ambience but very disappointing snapper dish (Carlos’s style) with an unusual soy sauce topping. Appetizer crab legs were great, and bread was very good.

    There were 6 of us for a birthday celebration. We ordered a full range off the menu; seafood, steaks, Italian. Everyone wanted something different. All of the food was amazing. Cocktails also perfect. The interior is old and charming. Our server was excellent we never went without anything all evening.

    This place has really declined. The crab claws were still good, but the shrimp on the shrimp cocktail were small and tasteless. The wedge salad was not good at all, and the snapper had a weird brown sauce that was supposed to be a lemon and white wine sauce. It was our anniversary and we were very disappointed overall. The service was still very good I’ll have to say!

    Our server, Taylor, was kind, knowledgeable and efficient. Our food was good - flavors were great. General consensus was that the steaks were tough. Ambience was very enjoyable.

    Delightful place! Outside pictures should be ignored. We sat at the bar and it was perfect for a hot June night. The bar was extra dark, with red lighting, so most will need their phones to see. When you order the gumbo, they create a fire around your bowl, so have your camera ready. Very good food, but we ordered too much. We did not realize a baked potato came with each entree. Live music was a plus!
