We invite you to enjoy a delicious and authentic Italian meal at Enzo and Lucia Ristorante. We use only fresh ingredients in our classic Italian dishes and cherished family recipes. Homemade Italian gourmet cappellacci stuffed with seasonal ingredients is the specialty at our Long Grove restaurant housed in a former and historic Victorian-style home erected in 1876.

Our outdoor patio gives dining “all’aperto” a whole new meaning, bordered by colorful flowers and foliage, the soothing sound of a fountain, and relaxing background music. Live music on the weekends.

Food was excellent. Not crazy about ordering chicken cacciatore and nothing being served with it. At least a dinner salad or vegetable. Having to pay $8.00 for a side salad, or pay for a vegetable, or potato turns me off.

Food was excellent as usual. This time we sat inside and the room was a little noisy but tolerable until they turned on music which made everyone talk even louder . Piped in music is good but for this style restaurant I would keep it lower in volume and maybe select jazz over lite top 40.

Finding a restaurant like Enzo and Lucia in the culinary deprived North suburbs was a big surprise. The restaurant and patio are lovely but the star was the food and excellent service. Their calamari is East Coast and as tender as you will find anywhere in the East Coast. Our pasta was truly perfect, Al dente and reminded us of Italy with a delicate olio olio sauce. Garlic spinach was wonderful and not overcooked like so many restaurants. Veal piccata was tender and buttery and as good as any Italian restaurant in Chicago. We can’t wait return.

I have been at Enzo’s many times and always loved it. But not this time and very disappointed. I brought my family to celebrate my wedding anniversary and my brother’s. 98 years combined and I told the reservationist. And Enzo did nothing. Added to that disappointment our service was poor. Had to wait an extra long time for our food and even to pay the bill. Food was great as always but the experience was not.

We really enjoyed our dining experience. The food was excellent as well as the service. We sat outside on the patio. Beautiful atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant!
