Situé à l'est, l'Empire Steak House est un restaurant réparti sur deux étages, entouré de banquettes et doté d'un dôme peint à la main. La salle à manger principale peut accueillir plus de 140 convives et est l'endroit par excellence pour l'organisation de repas et de soirées. Même si l'Empire est applaudi pour ses célèbres T-bones vieillis à sec pour deux personnes, les autres plats qui composent son vaste menu sont tout aussi extraordinaires. Il comprend un large éventail de fruits de mer frais, notamment des homards de 1,8 à 2,2 kg. De plus, ce restaurant installé dans la 50ème rue propose des pièces de spécialité, notamment une côte de bœuf Tomahawk, du faux-filet non désossé, du faux-filet cajun non désossé, un double carré de veau et un bifteck d'aloyau gros filet pour deux personnes. Le restaurant possède une carte des vins très sélective et dispose de nombreux grands crus californiens les plus prisés et plus de 101 scotchs pour accompagner chaque plat !

The staff didn't treat us less because we booked for the restaurant week. Unlike other horror stories of restaurants participating in restaurant week. The host and staff are first class, not to mention that the food was top notch. Great way to showcase their restaurant during NY restaurant week - especially their lunch specials which is super close to restaurant week pricing. Will be back.

We had a wonderful meal here for Restaurant Week. Staff was attentive and friendly. Manager came by to check on us during and after the meal.

I recently dined at Empire Steak House, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was absolutely amazing—attentive, professional, and welcoming, making us feel like VIPs throughout the evening. We opted for the $60 pre-fixe menu, and it was worth every penny. The meal started with a variety of delicious appetizers that were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The steak was the star of the show—cooked to perfection, tender, and full of that classic, rich steakhouse taste. To finish, the cheesecake was the perfect sweet ending, light and satisfying without being overwhelming. Overall, Empire Steak House offers an excellent dining experience with great value for the quality and service provided.

We both had to send part or all of our meal back, food lukewarm at best, server left and forgot about dessert had to ask for it, not best experience, probably not return

We arrived 1 pm for having lunch at first time. When we came it was only a few tables around 5 or so. We ordered espresso martini and margaritas. Sadly margaritas glass was a bit dirty and sticky. After that we ordered some appetizers, and for main we ordered Bone-in NY strip (medium) and Double Rack of Lamb (medium well). The steak was just a little bit under but the lamb was way over cooked. No one came to check at our table after the first bite. Even no one poured our bottle of water throughout our meal. And finally Server checked our table after almost the last bite. And we told him the lamb was over cooked. But sadly he didn’t tell the manager. We had to let it go ‘til the end. Until the manager came to ask how everything was after we’ve finished our lunch. And we told him about over cooked lamb. We appreciated how he was going to handle the situation if only he could have checked it a little earlier. For this steakhouse at this level and cost over USD 175 per person, we’re expecting a better service, especially first timers ….
