Named after Elias (Ely) Shapley of Greenville, Mississippi, Ely’s was established in 2008 with an emphasis on the highest quality beef, seafood, and spirits, while featuring an extensive wine list and friendly professional service. Located upstairs overlooking the Railroad District in Old Town Ridgeland (MS), Ely’s mixes the old with the new, offering time tested dishes in a cozy, upscale, contemporary setting unlike most local steak and seafood restaurants.

Noise level was really dependent upon who was at the large table near us. One loud person at the table makes all the difference. I don’t think there is anything the restaurant could do to change that without eliminating the large table. They don’t have many large tables so that’s not likely very practical.

The overall experience was very nice. My main complaint was the cost of a pound of crawfish tails @ $79 per pound. I thought it was priced way too high. I was not informed of the cost until I received my bill.

Wonderful experience as always. Strongly suggest the shrimp and crab dip, the tenderloin tips and if there’s a sea bass special - get it!

Never disappoints. Amazing product and service, from front to back. The bone in filet can’t be beaten and my wife swears to that. The garlic compote has to be their trick. Phenomenal steak. Always a special occasion for us when we are here, so we are looking forward to the next one!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening at ELY’s. Everything was great! Our server Brandon was very helpful and attentive.
