Head Chef, Josh Hobbs, continues the Elkins Resort tradition of excellent dining! Experience our signature herb and parmesan Halibut or our famous 32 oz Prime bone-in Tomahawk steak. We serve the highest quality cuts of meat and fish prepared with colorful, savory sauces to bring you a dining experience that you will surely rave about. Reservations for 6 or more require a credit card, subject to a 24 hour cancellation policy. A $20 per guest charge may be applied for cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours.

Open breakfast, lunch and dinner, in the summer months we invite you to relax by the lake with a meal or one of our famous Huckleberry Daiquiris. The lodge and Trapper Creek Lounge offer free wireless internet, 3 flat screen TV’s, air conditioning and a commanding view of Priest Lake and Chimney Rock. July and August offers Sunday Night movies on the lawn.

The food was good and the ambiance is great for a lake side lodge. The service was terrible- all due to our waiter. He was condescending & incompetent. He went out of his way to ignore us for some reason. We were never asked if everything was okay and did we need anything else. We were never given an opportunity to order another beverage. Even though we ordered cocktails we were charged for soda waters which were never refilled. After we finished eating he finally came to our table and smelled like he’d just smoked a cigarette. We declined dessert so he then proceeded to ignore us some more - actually cleared a table next to ours and visited another table with young ladies several times to shoot the breeze before finally bringing us our bill. mind boggling. We won’t be back - too bad as we had looked forward to eating there each night of our stay.

Cod special was excellent; morel appetizer was not. Caesar salad was good. Service was slow, surprised. Pre-meal drinks at bar were terrible. Overall, surprised & disappointed.

We come every Aug for our anniversary dinner. This year the food was the best it has ever been. Both ordered the 2 specials of the night (Alaskan blackened Cod and Pork) and was amazing! Split the Banana cake delce de leche dessert and also the best. Even Better than huckleberry offerings. Hats off to our server, Michael and the chef! We will be back for 31st anniversary next year!! Elkins is the best lake resort restaurant and the overall experience in their historic lodge is one you need to experience. Their chef is outstanding! Every time we dine there we order the special. We had the pork rib eye that literally melted in our mouths. Their iconic pepper steak and halibut never disappoints. Overall it’s a truly magical experience!

Dinner was delicious. Copper River Salmon perfectly paired with coconut Thai curry, New York Steak cooked exactly as ordered. Huckleberry Crisp was amazing. Can’t overstate the excellent food, service, and atmosphere. A Priest Lake gem.

Made a 6pm reservation we were seated immediately. No one came over to talk to us until 30 min later and actually helped another table after we had been sitting and waiting. Poor service and lack of communication. Over priced for the service received. Would not recommend and won’t go back.
