    Amazing! The food at El Vez has a somewhat twist on your traditional Mexican style cuisine. Our very favorite restaurant in all of Philadelphia. Clay L.

    I’m pretty happy everywhere I go, so I’ll always find the good and forgive the bad. That being said, El Vez doesn’t miss. That’s why it’s been around forever. Fun spot with good food that most can afford. It’s an energetic environment with good vibes in a street with a lot happening.

    Our experience was outstanding. The service was excellent. The food was exceptional. Our guest, who had never had Mexican food before, loved the Guacamole and her chicken enchiladas. My wife really enjoyed the Cod tacos. The restaurant was lively but not so noisy that you couldn't have a conversation. The staff were all friendly and added to our enjoyable experience.

    I went to this restaurant years ago and the food was amazing!! I had the fish tacos. So, went I went recently I wanted the fish tacos again but they were not great. Presentation was blah, looked like two long fish sticks wrapped in a tortilla with minimal slaw. Last time, it was fresh, flavorful, presentation was great, it was three tacos instead of two and balanced ratio of components. Service was excellent! Guacamole was delicious!

    I loved it. The only down fall was that I reserved for a Birthday & was supposed to get a churro cake/ candle. We did get it, however I ruined the surprise that it was supposed to be & had to ask the waiter for it in front of my friend who the surprise was for. She gave us the check & we did not receive it so I had to say something. Besides that everything was great.

    We love El Vez and normally have an incredible experience. The food is amazing and so are the drinks. This particular day our server was terrible. It took a very long time to get our first drinks from the bar. We ordered a second round when the first one was delivered. We never received them - one of us had to go up to the bar and order a third round - making it clear we never received the 2nd round and still wanted it. We never received it - it was like we were speaking two different languages.

    The food was wonderful, and the service was spot on. My only issue was the noise level made it difficult for conversation.

    We loved eating at El Vez! Everything was delicious and it's such a fun atmosphere! Definitely an all-time favorite restaurant for our family.
