Orné d'une superbe décoration murale peinte à la main de 51 x 152 cm et proposant l'une de plus belles terrasses et l'une des meilleures listes de cocktails de la ville, cet authentique restaurant mexicain à l'ambiance animée et au personnel sympathique est assuré d'être un succès. Le chef Le Calvez, qui a quitté Mexico, adore proposer aux habitants de Toronto ses saveurs fraîches typiques de la célèbre cuisine de son pays natal.

Julio’s service was excellent , food was so so, great margaritas and sitting outside with the fire and top heaters… excellent!

Servers are friendly, guacamole was tasty. Drinks are definitely a must.

The Margarita flight was a great choice! We found the fish tacos to be the better choice among the rest.

The waitress was very slow at taking our order and then forgot one of the starters. Once the food came, it was quick. They are supposed to be known for their guacamole which lacked salt and was not properly blended or mushed. It was very bland for the price and the chips tasted stale.

This was our second time to El Catrin. We were really impressed the first time so when we found ourselves in Toronto again, we made sure to stop by there again. The decor is impressive. I think part of the experience is looking at all the impressive features! The food did not disappoint a second time. We both had tacos and order guac and chips as an app. Both were delicious and we were completely stuffed afterwards. And the service, once again, was top notch. Our server Vinny was really attentive and could predict our needs without asking. He was never too far away if we needed anything and also another server Richardo came by and let us know he's around if we needed anything. We felt well taken are of. 10/10, would recommend! We will be back again and I will make sure to leave room for dessert because the churros look so so so good!!!

Our experience at El Catrin was excellent. We were first sat at a table that was not to our liking but the hostess reseated us with no problem. Our server was fantastic and waited on us quickly and efficiently. Our food was fantastic.....I might say the serving was quite big and some of the tacos could not be eaten. Thank you for a wonderful birthday celebration.

Extremely expensive. Over 700.00 including tax and tip for 4 people. I know costs are up everywhere but 20.00 for a margarita? 80.00 for a very so so bottle of wine. They have a SHOT of mezcal for 95.00!@. Our waiter Jose was excellant and the food was good but really. Not going back. We can go to a fairly high end restaurant in TO, get a very good bottle of wine and a more sophisticated meal for less

Brutal hostess! (Blonde hair). Great guac and chips, definitely enjoyed the margarita flight! Tacos were all great, just wish I could mix and match!
