L'El Catrin a ouvert pendant l'été 2014 au cœur du quartier de Distillery District. Orné d'une superbe décoration murale peinte à la main de 51 x 152 cm et proposant l'une de plus belles terrasses et l'une des meilleures listes de cocktails de la ville, cet authentique restaurant mexicain à l'ambiance animée et au personnel sympathique est assuré d'être un succès. Le chef Le Calvez, qui a quitté Mexico, adore proposer aux habitants de Toronto ses saveurs fraîches typiques de la célèbre cuisine de son pays natal.

    we often come here but were very disappointed this time around. drinks came after the food and our food was horrible. service was terrible too as we were constantly waiting for our server.

    Did not enjoy Server paid no attention to us we had to call him over to take our order Over headed staff talking about table next to us saying who cares they were rude Only decent person was at the end who took our bill- she was friendly Overrated and food was average at best Prefer Madrina down the street

    The restaurant was very busy and seemed like the waiter had a lot of tables to deal with and to keep on top of. Some more support staff for pouring water and clearing dishes would’ve been appreciated.

    Over priced for the mediocre food… sorry one pays only for the location. Nothing authentic or price matches the food unfortunately

Please know, we would have been happy to replace anything that was not to your preference.     The food was excellent and their margaritas are incredible, my wife and I split a flight to them and I’d highly recommend it. They still have one of the best patios in the city.
