We ordered the tasting menu for 125/each. The appetizers were fine and well prepared but the main courses were very disappointing. The Zatar steak was simply inedible. Our waitress was kind enough to warn us not to order the Zatar steak because some people complained it was “chewy”. We assumed she was exaggerating and trying to convince us to go off the tasting menu and order the more expensive Wagyu cuts, so we ignored her suggestion. What a mistake that was! The steak was well beyond chewy and simply inedible. Frankly I couldn’t believe a steak house of this caliber would ever serve this low quality steak, even as the “entry” level steak. The trout entree was ok but a bit on the dry side and without much flavor or anything special. I’m sure there are several excellent dishes on the a la carte menu but I would steer clear of the tasting menu and especially the Zatar steak.

One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! The steak was outrageously good, as was our salads and a magnificent chocolate soufflé for dessert. The staff is knowledgeable and first rate.

The service was outstanding. We were a party of 6. The food was however very disappointing. The sides were very bland in flavor. Mac and Cheese , twice Baked potatoes and the corn dish. The asparagus was good. The steaks didn’t have a flavor either. So disappointed. This was a birthday celebration I was treating my family to. 3 of the group ask for Medium temp on their steaks and they took them back 3 times and still were cold in the center. Drinks were good wine selection was excellent.

I entertain much with my job, and this is the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to post a negative. Usually I give a restaurant the benefit of a bad night. Seated at 7:30,ordered 7:45, our main course arrived at 10:10(they close at 9) nothing was said by anyone until I had to have the manager paged Manager reduced our bill, really didn’t solve anything. One of my guests left and cancelled their meal. Embarrassing to say the least. It was a Tuesday and not a packed restaurant by any stretch. Never again, can’t recommend. Wow!
