    We ate here 3 times because of convenience as we were staying in the hotel. Every time the food was near tasteless and disappointing and while some of the staff seemed nice and helpful, the equal number that seemed annoyed to have to provide service made it a negative experience.

    While staying at the Mayflower we enjoyed the happy hour on two days and enjoyed dinner one night. We had the Halibut and Short Ribs both were amazing. Take advantage of the happy hour and Edger’s

    Salmon was under cooked. Brussels Sprouts were very salty. That was dinner. The next morning same restaurant for breakfast the potatoes were under cooked and hard. Eggs Benedict had no taste.

    This place has hit its stride. The menu covers most tastes, the wine menu was varied enough to include all price points. Service was friendly and competent, without being constantly in our faces. We were staying at the Mayflower for a romantic getaway, and Edgar perfectly fit for a romantic meal—enough that this is going to be a “regular”!

    The menu was limited for dinner, but was able to order other items from the lunch menu. Some of the entrees were overpriced like the risotto which the portion was small.

    We dined here during a recent stay at the Mayflower Hotel. I had the haddock and my wife the shrimp risotto. Both were quite good and reasonably priced. We also had breakfast the following morning. Very good choices for all budgets. Service in the evening and at breakfast was professional and friendly.

    Party of 5, we had great service and enjoyed awesome food. Dessert, snickerdoodle cookie thingy, was delicious too.
