The food was great if it wasn’t for being seated on the porch where some of the tables are too close, we were seated next to a table of four which was less than a foot away It was extremely loud so I took my hearing aides out and put them in my jacket. I lost the left hearing aide and after getting home realized I lost it. My wife called the next morning and talked to Carrie who went out of her way to help us!

Food was good but overpriced. Service was horrible. Got there at 6 party of 4 left at 8:40. Server was nice but spent too much time talking with people she knew and not getting food. People is same room came after us and left before us.

Our Shrimp & Scallops and Lobster Crepes were excellent - along with the service. Will definitely be back.

Duhling Kurtz always has had an excellent reputation in our area. Six of our family went there for Mother's Day and were disappointed. The waitress and service were excellent but the food was mediocre and VERY expensive. I got the prime rib and asked for medium but it was much too well done. I ate about half of it but my daughter's dog probably had a wonderful meal afterwards. (The horseradish sauce served with it was very tasty however.) I had originally wanted to order the lobster crepes but they ran out of them which was disappointing considering it is their specialty. One would think they would have planned to have enough for this special day. One in our party got the duck and another the salmon. Each said they were only fair. I tasted the lobster bisque from my grandson's plate and am glad I did not order it since it too was not what I would expect from a good restaurant. The highlight for me was their DELICIOUS (and signature) lemon curd which was served with popovers at the beginning of the meal. They are the BEST but unfortunately did not make up for the rest of the meal. To summarize, the ambience and the service were excellent but the food was unfortunately only fair and not what is expected from a supposedly first-class restaurant. We have crossed it off our list (unless some time I get a craving for their popovers and lemon curd).

I was really looking forward to my Mother’s Day celebration at Duling-Kurtz, but by the time we got there at 6 PM, there were multiple menu items no longer available. The prices seemed significantly higher than they usually are, and we’re not usually a price sensitive family. The food was mediocre at best. We’ve always had a great experience, and I know that we should have a different expectation for high-traffic holidays, but with a limited menu and steep prices, you would expect to have full availability and delicious food. It’s not likely we will return soon.
