Le restaurant Duke's Malibu et le Barefoot Bar sont perchés sur le bord de l'eau, à un peu plus de 6 kilomètres au nord du Sunset Boulevard. We were celebrating our Anniversary early 9/15 @ 1230 PM. We had requested a widow table(not really expecting one). We arrived a few minutes early, checked in and headed to the bar for a drink. About 5 minutes into our 15 estimated 15 minute wait, we were seated, at a window table. The staff were exceptional, from the person at the desk, to the lady who seated us, and our server(Caroline). Drinks, food and of course the view made it an awesome day. Then our server surprised us with a comp dessert for our Anniversary. The entire day in Malibu was great. Can't thank the staff at Duke's Malibu enough. Everyone was so friendly and took great care of us. We'll be back sooner than later. We live in Rancho Cucamonga which is about a 75 mile drive for us. But.... With service like this well worth the drive. Thanks again to Duke's.

Good location.. valet parking expensive. Limited food choices for Brunch/Lunch.. drinks choices good.

The poke tacos were half the size I remember and mostly were stuffed with onions with a couple of pieces of fish on top. The salad was good with beets and bacon. The macadamia nut encrusted fish was delightful, but a lot smaller portion than before. The prices are higher than ever. I liked our server, but we were seated in a smelly table by the bathroom and little children even though we had a reservation on OpenTable. I asked to move and we were able to sit further away from the children and smells. The open window with ocean spray Reprieve. Overall, it didn’t feel Hawaiian anymore. I had enjoyed coming here after my Hawaiian vacation and unfortunately not going to go back. This is the third time to Malibu after going to Oahu and Maui twice.

We loved our dinner experience and had filet mignon and lobster tail and ahi steak. It was fabulous.

Great for lunch on a nice day with ocean views at all tables and booths. Loved our lunch with fresh Mahi Mahi and Kalua Pork. Excellent wait staff and a very nice place for a casual lunch.

First off, request Matt A.! Excellent service and wonderfully engaging. Couldn’t ask for better! We started with the calamari appetizer. Nicely presented and quite tasty. For lunch we enjoyed the macadamia nut and herb lunch and a ahi bowl. Nicely prepared and presented! Filling too! A couple of beers and finishing with a LARGE slice of Hula Pie (1 slice enough for 3-4 people!

We go there regularly for the good and reasonably priced food and the superb view. This time they donated me a hula pie for my birthday, very generous. Only the valet price got up a bit.
