Situé à quelques pas de la plage, notre restaurant en plein air offre une superbe vue panoramique sur l'océan Pacifique le long de Kaanapali North Beach au Honua Kai Resort and Spa. Les ingrédients frais et locaux sont présents dans tous les plats de nos menus petit-déjeuner, déjeuner et dîner. We enjoyed the restaurant very much. My husband‘s dinner of chicken and ribs was a little overcooked. I am celiac and our waiter did a great job of getting the restaurant to make me a gluten-free hamburger with bun. He also checked the ingredients on the mashed potatoes to make sure I could have them instead of french fries. The only thing that brought this to a four-star was the wine list. We did not enjoy the wines. It would be great if they would have more of a gluten intolerant menu. But all in all it was lovely. The waiters were all dressed in costume for Halloween

A month ago I ordered their avocado toast with a poached egg and it was the best one I have ever had. So on this visit I was really looking forward to ordering it again. Sadly, the poached egg was way undercooked and when it came back it was hard boiled. So the kitchen didn't do a good job with the egg which is a big part of this dish. Also the breakfast potatoes were not hot or even warm when they reached our table. Don't think we will be back.

It was our last meal out on Maui. We really enjoyed the lupus and main course, service and especially the hula pie. Definitely would recommend.

Victor was friendly, knowledgeable and provided excellent service. The food was fresh and delicious. We had salads, ahi tuna and nut encrusted fish. The Hula pie is a must, but definitely need to share with someone!

Duke's has a great oceanfront location, delicious seafood, great ambiance and very good service. Beware: there is a very loud amplified singer with guitar from 5:30 to 8:00 every evening. If you like relaxed conversation at meal time, you will want to eat late, or be seated far from the singer. But obviously Duke's target audience eats it up! There's a good selection of wine and cocktails, including mocktails, and they are fairly priced by Maui standards. My wife had the sautéed mac nut crusted fish (monchong on this occasion), which comes with a lemon caper sauce, jasmine rice and broccolini. It's as tasty as the similar dish at Mama's Fish House, but at about half the price, and without the Mama's lobster sauce. I had the seafood risotto, which contains lobster, shrimp, scallop and fish (in this case, mahimahi and monchong). The risotto is the real thing, using Arborio rice. (A few restaurants try to get away with calling rice "risotto".) The dish had two unadvertised additions: kale (which if advertised I would have asked them to omit) and a bloody red tomato puree. The additions made the dish more colorful but did not enhance the taste IMHO. We unfortunately didn't have room for dessert, but they do serve a fabulous hula pie! Despite the small blemishes noted above, we highly recommend Duke's and will return again soon! Duke's is deservedly very popular -- we recommend booking well in advance. They accept bookings up to 90 days ahead.
