Victor was friendly, knowledgeable and provided excellent service. The food was fresh and delicious. We had salads, ahi tuna and nut encrusted fish. The Hula pie is a must, but definitely need to share with someone!

Duke's has a great oceanfront location, delicious seafood, great ambiance and very good service. Beware: there is a very loud amplified singer with guitar from 5:30 to 8:00 every evening. If you like relaxed conversation at meal time, you will want to eat late, or be seated far from the singer. But obviously Duke's target audience eats it up! There's a good selection of wine and cocktails, including mocktails, and they are fairly priced by Maui standards. My wife had the sautéed mac nut crusted fish (monchong on this occasion), which comes with a lemon caper sauce, jasmine rice and broccolini. It's as tasty as the similar dish at Mama's Fish House, but at about half the price, and without the Mama's lobster sauce. I had the seafood risotto, which contains lobster, shrimp, scallop and fish (in this case, mahimahi and monchong). The risotto is the real thing, using Arborio rice. (A few restaurants try to get away with calling rice "risotto".) The dish had two unadvertised additions: kale (which if advertised I would have asked them to omit) and a bloody red tomato puree. The additions made the dish more colorful but did not enhance the taste IMHO. We unfortunately didn't have room for dessert, but they do serve a fabulous hula pie! Despite the small blemishes noted above, we highly recommend Duke's and will return again soon! Duke's is deservedly very popular -- we recommend booking well in advance. They accept bookings up to 90 days ahead.

Live Duke’s on Maui. It’s convenient as we stay at Westin Nanea. Best Mud Pies and food and drink always good. We dinned here every time we’re in Maui

Wonderful dining experience by all accounts. Both of us had fish prepared two different ways and split them. Couldn’t tell you which was better, both tasted equally good. Get the huge Hula Pie dessert, it’s so big they give to a metal spork to tackle it! The arugula and beet salad was excellent too. We asked for shaved Parmesan instead of goat cheese and they gladly accommodated us. Duke’s mai tais stick to the traditional nostalgic mai tai recipe going back to Don Ho days, served in a nice tiki glass with umbrella. Everything was great!

We’ve eaten here several times over the last 3-4 years, and each visit has been as good as the last. Duke’s Mai Thai was really good. Our group really enjoyed the baked fish (our go-to) and the banana leaf steamed fish. Also tried the seafood risotto per our waitress’s recommendation and was not disappointed. Even the kids fish and chips were tasty. And of as always…great ocean/sunset views.

We’ve been coming to Hawaii for about 20 years. Duke’s never disappoints! That complimentary Hula Pie for our anniversary was awesome, 👍🏻👏🏻
