We had another great experience at Downtown Kitchen last night. Four adults, a 2 year old and a baby. Everything was perfect. Had three specials - Swordfish Taco app, 16oz Ribeye with special butter and Pan Seared Halibut. All were outstanding. Nick and Mike provided excellent service. Cory came and discussed dairy free options for my daughter. You can't beat the quality and attention you get at Downtown Kitchen!

$25 ribeye night is a great deal! Is a little hit or miss with the steaks, but overall it’s one of our favorite spots! Our server was amazing!

Service outstanding. Steak too tough to eat and was returned. An adjustment was made to our check crediting approximately half the cost of that entree. Other parts of the order (appetizer and entre 2) were very good!

We dined upstairs (by way of elevator). It was my wife’s birthday. Nice table in the corner. Our server Mike was prompt in service and knowledgeable about the menu. Unlike many restaurants, Downtown Kitchen’s upstairs provides a quiet, pleasant atmosphere. Dark wood and exposed brick accented by funky fabric on the bench backs provide a good setting for a meal. We each had the filet; hers with the au poivre treatment, mine with the Pittsburgh treatment. Both were delicious. The steak price includes salad or soup. I had Caesar salad, my wife, the mixed greens. Again, delicious. Sure, steak prices are now high, but the serving size is 8 ounces and including a salad or soup and one side makes for good value. I had let the restaurant know it was my wife’s birthday, and staff greeted her with “Happy Birthday!” They also presented her with a birthday card signed by staff. I highly recommend Downtown Kitchen.

We went here for our wedding anniversary. We started with the fried shrimp with yum yum sauce which was phenomenal. Both my husband and I had the hanger steak as our main entree which was cooked perfectly to our respective temperatures and tasted great. We had a cookies and cream creme brulee to end our meal and it was outstanding. The service was great and the atmosphere was good too.
