Dominic and Jackie Galati purchased Dominic's on the Hill in 1971 and moved in above the restaurant. Within two years, Dominic began winning national awards and has continued to do so for the last 40 years. This is an exceptional restaurant with fine Italian cuisine, professional, friendly service, & an extensive wine list. Dominic oversees the kitchen,and the menu includes fresh seafood, veal, tenderloin, lamb, and many other choices. The restaurant has a Florentine atmosphere, with low lighting, white tablecloths, & classic oil paintings. Dominic's has been honored by DIRONA, 2001 Restaurant Hall of Fame, 1999 International Award of Excellence, The Epicurean Award & was voted one of the two best Italian Restaurants in the country by Conde Nast Traveller.

The second floor of the restaurant is available for private parties of 15-65. Please call for details. Smaller parties up to 18 people can be accommodated downstairs as well as larger parties up to 150.

Dominic's on the Hill is ideal for business functions, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, anniversary parties, graduation parties, and small wedding dinners. The elegent and intimate Sopra Room on the private second floor is complete with separate bathrooms, full bar, and plasma TV. The main restaurant has two semi-private rooms which can seat 18 people. The whole restaurant can also be reserved for up to 150 people. Private dining menus range in price depending on your budget and wants. Wine can also be ordered exclusively for your event. A deposit is required to hold the space for your private event. Call for more information.

It was the most perfect date night with incredible food and wine ! A must try if you are in town and Don Domenico is a legend !! I had the breaded veal escalopes with cannelloni and my husband the shrimp and it was fabulous!

My favorite restaurant in St Louis. I had the best veal chop ever! Salads great. Ambiance great. Decor amazing. Ty Dominic!

As always, Dominic's was a great experience in all aspects. Geno & Tony are excellent at making dinner a special occasion. It's a true fine dining restaurant, in spite of some customers not dressing like it's fine dining!

Absolutely amazing. The wait staff is backed by a tremendously talented kitchen. Our server Joe who is also the manager was very knowledgeable about the wine list (his baby), he spent time with us creating a perfect meal making sure every course was exactly what we wanted. The food is to die for, we picked a feast with apps, pasta course, salads, entree and dessert, planning to take some home. We left without boxes, we just couldn’t stop, every single plate that appeared in front of us we ate. His assistant Steven was professional, polite, and ever present to make sure we needed nothing. I couldn’t ask for anything better

We enjoyed a nice bottle of Italian red wine, snails, tomato & mozzarella salad, veal saltambocca, cannelloni, and a sweet birthday dessert with a candle! Great service, professional wait staff. Dominic seated us - wonderful to see him!

Four of us arrived for a 7:00 reservation. We started with appetizers and salads. They had an eggplant parm made with locally grown in season Italian eggplant. It was perfectly prepared with a crispy coated, tender eggplant that was not mushy, and a sauce to complement not drown the eggplant. The goat cheese and tomato salad special was absolutely delicious. Their tortellini was like little pasta filled pillows. They are generous with the filling with a divine cream sauce. I was supposed to see four generous portions of cannelloni. Also perfectly prepared. They were very accommodating of special requests. Definitely prepared fresh. I love the old school atmosphere of feeling spoiled. Prices were fair for such a high quality atmosphere and food. Enjoy!
