After being seated we waited 15-20 minutes before the waiter came to our table. The busboy had to get the waiter to come to our table to acknowledge us. We placed our order for wine, and appetizer, which were served in a timely manner. However, after the appetizer, we waited 45 min for our main dishes to be served. Also, the noise level was so high that it was difficult to have a conversation. It was not a very enjoyable evening. We live in Pacific Grove and have been to Domenico’s many times but it seems to have changed. We always looked forward to the San Francisco sour dough french bread. Now they serve a bland white type french bread.

Excellent seafood and excellent service. We’ve been going there for 25 years and the food and service is always the best in Monterey.

Some dishes were not done in real Italian style, chicken marsala should not be served over pasta with tomato sauce. With vegetables that are spicy. I am a retired chef from Italy. They list some points on this , but overall we enjoyed our food and wine . This was our seventh time coming here.

Have been going here for our anniversary for a few years and were always impressed with the service. However this time we were very disappointed. Had to ask for our drinks after we had ordered them. Bread was brought without asking on previous visits but server said we needed to request. We were not told this upon seating or when giving our drink order. Hope this is not a,trend. It was busy due to the Italian festival but other tables seemed to be getting attentive service

We had a seat by the water but inside- so lovely to see the otters play as we ate. Service was excellent and food too. Would return.

The shrimp Louis salad was disappointing . The shrimp didn’t taste fresh, more like frozen shrimp. The dressing was also disappointing. More attention is needed.

Been here more than a few times. Great location from where we stay, but this visit must have been the end of the season blues. Not our greatest experience from food to overall satisfaction. We'll most likely be back, but we were disappointed.

Spoke with the owner Angelina and she was amazingly humble and sweet! Been going there for 25 years. My favorite! Have bouillabaisse!! Oysters Rockefeller!!!
