   We have a wonderful experience every time, from when we walk in , we had a wonderful server Maureen. My favorite restaurant by far.

   We've wanted to try this place out for years. Finally did it on a special occasion. The place is nice inside, reminds us of an older style NY type bistro. The food was good, not exceptional. Portions were moderate. Very disappointing to have 2 slices of bread brought to table as part of dinner. Frankly, I would be embarrassed to do something like that at a dinner. Considering a price tag of close to $300 for 2 of us (Including drinks wine and martinis), 2 appetizers, main courses, 2 deserts with coffee and sambuca. Just seemed very steep for my tastes considering the food was simply "good". For that price, it should have been exceptional. May consider going again for another special occasion.

   Our experience at Diorio’s was great from beginning to end. The food and wine were excellent, with very attentive; yet not overbearing, service. A very pleasant experience throughout.

    This was my first visit back since Covid and the closing for renovations. I must say my experience was STELLAR. On a scale of 1 to 5 stars, Diorio's is TEN STARS. Among us we shared the ceasar salad, the freshest calamari on earth, and the OMG beef carpachio. We also shared the world famouse Chicken Parm w/their award winning bolognese and the Cod Special which was as thick and fresh as if it came off the boat that morning. Our server was James (JT) and knowing that we were celebrating a birthday, made things extra special ... or did he ... we walked away debating that because we were quite sure JT is always on top of his game. JT is straight out of Beauty and the Beast ... you know ... the dinner scene ... Be Our Guest. Although we failed to ask, we agreed that JT surely had training at the Lucerne. Bravo and Merci, JT. Of course the dessert selection was the toughest part of the evening. How does one possibly choose from the 6 or 7 gourmet delectables. We thought that adding a gold birthday candle may have been dangerous since we were already so full that it might have resulted in an explosion. Timing of each course was perfect. JT paid close attention to our progress and fired up the next course with precision timing. Although this was not a landmark birthday, a young 61, JT certainly turned it into a most memorable celebration. Starting with JT and all the way around the restaurant, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH to everyone for the TEN STAR experience we thoroughly enjoyed on the evening of March 20, 2025.
