Dinner for Two has been named Best Steakhouse in New Mexico!
Excellent food, great cocktails and a fun dinning environment! We specialize in Prime cuts of beef, Filet Mignon Rib-eye, New York strip as well as table-side presentations like Caesar salad and Chateaubriand and Bananas foster. Please Call To make a reservation for our dog friendly Patio. Multi-award winning: including Wine Spectator and top 10 in southwest and Best Cocktail. Our cocktails are Well made fun and Forward Thinking, With an emphasis on Seasonality. Happy hour is available from 4 -6:00 every day! (Except Holidays). We love to host dinners for Weddings, organizations, or private celebrations from 2 to 90, everything is made in-house so special diets are easily accommodated: allergies, gluten free, etc.

I never mind paying for good food with good service. Never had a bad time/meal here.

Experience at Dinner 4 2 was outstanding. In a city known for excellent food, this unpretentious restaurant is well worth a visit. We received excellent service from Carlos, Ricardo and Alessandra! Great Happy Hour specials including Tito’s martinis were crafted exactly as requested. Table side crafted Ceasar salad was not only a fun to watch process, but a delicious starter. Strip steak and Veal Piccata were both excellent. Finishing touch of a festive flaming Banana Foster dessert topped off a great evening. A return visit for sure.

Great experience, service attentive, ceasar salad mixed by table fantastic. NY Strip and Veal Piccata cooked perfectly.

Overall experience was great. We had a great friendly waitress, food was delicious. We had the crab cakes, the surf and turf special and banana fosters which was all very good.

Great server and great food. We went during happy hour, which is 4-6 pm. We highly recommend this place.

My guests were steak connoisseurs, and I promised them a special treat. They agreed that "Dinner for Two" is special. Not only was the Fillet Oscar suburb, but the French Onion Soup was special, as was the Bananas Foster dessert. All finished the evening with great praise for a wonderful meal and, considering how busy and full the place was, the responsive service. If you interest is good food and great steak, coupled with attention and service, Dinner for Two should be at the top of your list in Santa Fe.

We've been to Dinner for 2 many times, and after our recent experience we won't be back. We had a reservation at 5:30 pm and arrived at 5:20 during the 4-6 happy hour. We ordered our food and drinks by 5:50, there were 4 of us. The food was literally "thrown" at us, the service was some of the worst. Our waitress was arrogant and not friendly at all. We finished our meal at around 6:30 and we were presented and paid the bill immediately. At 6:30, the 4 of us were deep in conversation, sharing photos and having a great time talking, when the waitress came to the table and in a very rude tone said "you need to leave now, we have a reservation for this table, Happy Hour is from 4-6 and you need to leave." The menu clearly states that there is a 2 hour maximum for tables. The restaurant needs to work on their reservation management system and the manners and lack of respect from the staff to their customers. We will not be back and will also discourage people from patronizing this restaurant in the future.
