Dinner for Two has been named Best Steakhouse in New Mexico!
Excellent food, great cocktails and a fun dinning environment! We specialize in Prime cuts of beef, Filet Mignon Rib-eye, New York strip as well as table-side presentations like Caesar salad and Chateaubriand and Bananas foster. Please Call To make a reservation for our dog friendly Patio. Multi-award winning: including Wine Spectator and top 10 in southwest and Best Cocktail. Our cocktails are Well made fun and Forward Thinking, With an emphasis on Seasonality. Happy hour is available from 4 -6:00 every day! (Except Holidays). We love to host dinners for Weddings, organizations, or private celebrations from 2 to 90, everything is made in-house so special diets are easily accommodated: allergies, gluten free, etc.

We were seated at a nice table in the very back. Our waiter took quite a while to take our drink order. He was rather brusque in his manner. The table next to us was told by their waiter he would bring their bread out. Our waiter never brought us bread. When I asked, he told us we needed to ask for bread. Really? He never returned to see how our meals were. My salmon was undercooked (for me). Since I couldn’t find our waiter, I told the host I had a problem. When the waiter finally came over, he said that’s how it’s prepared. Shouldn’t he have asked how I would like it prepared? My husband enjoyed the Veal Marsala. I was less impressed with the “Sampler”. We were out of there in 45 minutes. A lot to spend for a less than good experience.

Get the award winning mushroom soup. It's fun to get the table side prepared ceasar salad and bananas foster. My friend and I got the veal Marsala and Piccata. Both were delicious. Our husbands had the surf and turf and thought they were great. Clayton was our charming waiter. Great evening out.

Dinner for Two is an excellent locally owned restaurant. Highly recommend it, have never had a bad meal there!

Anna prepared for us both the tableside Caesar salad and the tableside Bananas Foster and both were excellent. She was personable and informative as she prepared the dishes. José was our server and was very attentive and helped make our anniversary celebration more special. We felt cared for.

Without a doubt, the BEST Table Side Caesar Salad we've had in fifty years of fine dining experience. Nice recognition of our 56th Anniversary. Will return.

We just spent a week in SantaFe and our meals at Dinner for Two were far and away the best, most tasty we had there. All four of us ordered the 7 oz cocoa rubbed filets- 3 medium , 1 medium rare - and all were cooked to perfection. The accompanying mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables were delicious as well. Our server was politely attentive and the restaurant ambiance was subdued and elegant. I will definitely dine here again!
