Les co-propriétaires Brian Piccini, Christopher Coombs, chef exécutif, et Jason Irving, directeur général et sommelier, sont fiers de leur primé resto-bar Deuxave, situé dans le quartier de Back Bay. Offrant une cuisine américaine contemporaine, il travaille avec des produits saisonniers, issus des plus belles fermes et des fournisseurs locaux, servant ainsi des ingrédients frais et savoureux. Since our last meal at Duexave a year ago we were quite disappointed when we returned to find inflated prices, smaller portions, and an unimaginative menu. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Pro: Had caviar, duck confit, halibut and mushroom risoto, all EXCELLENT, superbly prepared and presented. Wine: Echezeaux Romee Conti by the glass! Wow! Con: This time, our server seemed seriously undertrained, interrupting table conversations mid-sentence and unneccessarily intruding. I'm sure with mentoring and experience, she will match the general excellence of this fine restaurant. OVERALL: Boston's best! : )

Great experience start to finish. Staff were both professional and friendly. Nice ambience with well spaced tables and a reasonable level of background noise. Food and drink were outstanding. This place hits all the right notes.

Food was excellent but the service was what particularly shone. Wesley was our server. He was very knowledgeable about the sourcing of ingredients as well as wines. His service added to what was an already memorable evening. Well done!

We have been here several times to celebrate special occasions and the food has always been excellent. Unfortunately the meal last night did not meet expectation. Although the quality of the food was good, the meal flavors and textures were not cohesive. The sauces were almost non-existent and overall the dishes lacked seasoning. For the price and reputation we were a bit surprised and disappointed.

Last night the food that my wife and I had at Deuxave was fantastic. We split a truffle risotto to start which was perfect. She had the beet salad and the chicken. The beet salad was great. One piece of chicken was perfect. The other was a bit hard. I had the duck pate to start and the duck as the entree. Both were fantastic. However, the service was incredibly slow. My wife came close to leaving. While I was eating the duck pate, the waiter asked if I would like some more toast points. I said yes. It was 15 minutes before they arrived. We sat for 20 minutes between the delayed starters and the entrees. Even Deuxave recognized that the service was slow; they comped a second glass of wine that I did not request.

Absolutely amazing! Can’t remember the bartender’s name but he stole the show. Food was fantastic! Highly recommend.
