Les co-propriétaires Brian Piccini, Christopher Coombs, chef exécutif, et Jason Irving, directeur général et sommelier, sont fiers de leur primé resto-bar Deuxave, situé dans le quartier de Back Bay.     Hello Mr. Lu, As you might imagine, we are very disappointed to see that you feel so negatively about your experience with us from last night. Duck is our specialty here at Deuxave and Chef proudly displays the two preparations and sections of duck on our tasting menu : confit leg and spiced duck breast. It is also true that we end the tasting menu with a dessert course and am not sure if the review is meant to be a criticism or concern, but we would have happily expanded your tasting menu experience with additional savory courses like our featured white alba truffle, A5 Wagyu, or Foie Gras.     From valet parking after horrendous Friday traffic, to an amuse bouche soup surprise, we laughed our way through three courses and a bottle of wine, at superb levels, including subtle duck in sauce, pepper perfect steak, huddled broccolini and a shared cardamon flan. We met, on our left, a visitor from England, avoiding her NY sister, and in our right, a cancer survivor keynote speaker. Great night out. Sorely needed .

    I went with my girlfriend as our anniversary. I had ordered the Onion Soup as the entree While for our main course, we’ve both ordered the Spiced Duck Breast For dessert we went for the Creme Broule The soup unfortunately has let me down, from other I’ve had before While Duck was fantastic, I never had Duck before so I was a little skeptical but it has surprised me, the plate was beautiful both aesthetically and tastefully, with the Duck on point The Creme Brûlée was also beautiful and I’ve really enjoyed

    Our original waiter must have went off shift at 9pm We sat for 30 minutes before anyone realized we were sitting with empty plates and empty glasses New waiter came over …..too late

    Booked ahead for the 5-course tasting menu and ended up partaking in the upgraded wine pairing. Both the food and wine were delicious and well matched. The service, however, was a hair off all night. Two different people came up to ask for our water preference (which was simply still) and the 10-15 minutes to actually have it poured. The rhythm of the courses and the paired wines was erractic with the pours often coming well after the food had been served. Uneven pours as well. We did very much appreciate the dessert noting our 5th anniversary. Overall, a great meal, but the timing needed some work.

    Arrived a bit late for a 7:15 pm reservation on Friday night, but still had to wait until 8-ish to be seated; lots of people waiting in small entry way by the bar. Food and drinks were top notch. We had the Hudson Valley fois gras x2, the duck and the NY strip for the main course, and coffee profiterol x2 for dessert. Cocktail and wine pairing worked well. The ambiance was nice and relaxing, a bit noisy at times (maybe some birthday celebrations?). Bonus points for the nicely scented soap and terry hand towels in the bathroom. Luck if draw, got seated next to a party of 4; both females poured ½ bottle of scent on them 🙄, so that didn’t add to the dining experience. The service was smooth and pretty fast. Our sever was well trained to push the most $$$$ items on the menu right off the bat, but nice and friendly. Will return 👍🏻

    We sat at the bar before heading to the theatre. It was cozy with great energy. The bartender/server was great and three of the "appetizers" was a perfect amount of food with the addition of the amazingly buttery rolls. The somelier's recomendation was different/interesting and absolutely delicious. Neither of us wanted to leave to go to our show...

    The attention to detail and service was amazing at Deuxave! We loved the wine pairings choices with our meals. The duck confit was truly mouthwatering delicious! Our waiter was great at giving us details to the origin of each wine and overall his service was superb. A great experience for our 20th anniversary! Would definitely recommend!

    Since our last meal at Duexave a year ago we were quite disappointed when we returned to find inflated prices, smaller portions, and an unimaginative menu. Overall, a disappointing experience.
