    Great experience ! The staff was very polite and responsive. Ethan did a great job and the managers were always available if needed. Food was outstanding!

    We went to Delmonico’s for a late Valentine’s Day dinner. We got the beef carpaccio, the loaded gnocchi, the garlic mashed potatoes and the Marsala mushrooms for our sides and the chef’s cut of the day, which was a 35oz tomahawk ribeye. It came out a perfect medium rare and was absolutely delicious. Our server Sarah was wonderful, very attentive to our needs. A wonderful experience and we’ll be going back.

    I had never been here before but I wanted to try something different. It was my Valentine’s Day date choice with my fiancé. Seating was very fast for my reservation which was at 7:45pm. The waiter was very polite and took our order when we were ready. When the good arrived I had things on my plate that I didn’t like and never tried before. Filet mignon, mashed potatoes, lobster tail and asparagus.. EVERYTHING was amazing .. even the asparagus wasn’t bad and I normally hate it. Definitely a 10/10.. I will be going back.

    I expected a good steak. Period. Truthfully, Outback has WAY better steak... the meat had no taste . It did not look like a ribeye from the moment I saw it. It was very thick (like a filet) yet big. No flavor in the meat at all. It was also NOT tender! Can you imagine? Ribeye not being tender? The mashed potatoes were good, but then garlic mashed potatoes are usually pretty darn good! The asparagus was 4 stalks just set on top of the mashed potatoes. No other garnishes or anything to make the plate look like a valentine's day meal... its a bit disappointing when it cost us $200. We won't be back... if we want a tasty and tender steak, we will likely go to Outback for half the price! The SMALL cup of lobster bisque was very good, the bread was just ok...nothing great.

    My wife and I had an early Valentine’s date here to avoid potential crowds on Friday. The food was outstanding, as was the service and general atmosphere. Our server was very attentive to our gluten-free restrictions, and was very personable and professional. The only reason that I could not give this visit the five-star review that it deserved is the clientele. I could barely hear my wife speaking because of a group of obnoxiously loud men in a booth near the bar adjacent to our dining area. Comments like “I was a f---ing idiot because…” overshadowed our conversation. There were other men, or shall I say boys in men’s bodies, in the dining area with untucked flannel shirts and hoodies. When I’m spending $140 (post-income tax, pre-tip) on dinner, and on a rare date night, I’d like the atmosphere to have some class. Unfortunately, this is merely another example of our overly casual, anything goes society, and Delmonico’s is not the only higher-end establishment to have this problem. If my wife and I must drive all the way to Vermillion to go to a jacket-and-tie establishment in order to witness some maturity among the patrons, so be it.

    First time diners and absolutely loved it!!! Working at a fine dining steakhouse myself, I tend to be more critical. They knocked it out of the park!!! Carly and the rest of the staff were amazing!!! We will definitely be back.
