A previously must-visit for my wife and I each year for our anniversary, turned into a total nightmare during a recent visit. Sadly, they missed they missed the mark so bad, I’m not sure we’ll be back. First, we had booked our reservation weeks ahead, only to be seated in the bar area. This was our anniversary dinner, which was known, yet we were sat in the worst area for ambiance and a dinner that felt special. We didn’t say anything because by the time we wanted to, we already had water, bread, etc. and it was going to cause a scene. However, as the night went on, we realized what a bad decision that was, but tried to make the most of it. That said, this shouldn’t happen. Unfortunately, the service and food weren’t much better. We’ve always had very high regard for both at Delmonico, and we left wondering what happened. - A medium well filet was so dried out that it wasn’t edible - Creamed spinach wasn’t cooked or creamy, it was crunchy instead - We were served a piece of bread that was hard as a rock, and had to request new bread. They never took the old one and it sat with us the whole dinner. - Our server was nice, but she did little to pay attention to us. Her focus was on setting up tables in the bar. Acknowledged our anniversary at the end with a free dessert, but didn’t ask anything about it or if we had even been there before. At one point, she had to return to our table to ask if she took our order (which she had), because she somehow forgot she did. - The half bottle of wine we ordered, although cheap, was not served cold. They tried quickly to get it cold, but we literally had to put ice in it. - Previous servers had paid close to attention to clearing out table off, but this was only done once - after dinner. We’ve never been one to complain or cause a scene. As the night went on, we knew there was no saving the experience for our 10th anniversary. Unfortunately, think we’ve hit the end of the road at Delmonico after 6 visits over the years.

We ordered the filet and it was awful. It was more like the lean end off of a dried out brisket than a filet. The seasoning was very overpowering and you could not taste the true flavor of the steak. I was only able to take one bite as it was that bad. My spouse ate 4 bites and had to quit. This was definitely not a filet cut. Highly disappointed in the meal. The mashed potatoes were more on the runny side as well. Our waitress was excellent and provided great service. Kudos to her!!

Absolutely exceptional experience and quality meal! I have been coming here 20 years! Frank, our waiter made this a very enjoyable evening! Nice job!

Steak was over cooked. Expected a dry aged ribeye but couldn’t really grasp that strong dry aged labor that we all love. Extremely underwhelming. Cocktails and the waiter however were great

Amazing service, as always. Steaks cooked to perfection. Truffle chips were light and crispy. Grits were savory and delightful. Highly recommend this place for a hearty meal.

Excellent experience. Very attentive staff, our table ordered the filet, lobster tail and cornbread stuffed chicken…everyone loved their dinner. We will be back next time we are in Vegas!

The service was outstanding and some of the best ever experienced. However the steaks we not as hot as they should be. food was tasty and cooked perfectly, but not served as hot as they should be.
