The service is always impeccable and the food delicious. I had the ricotta gnocchi with marinara sauce and my hubby had pasta Arrabbiata with chicken and also loved it. Their bread and Italian chimichurra is top notch.

Made a reservation for 8 at 5pm on a Wednesday. Very easy to get a reservation for a party that big and they didn’t even charge a per person rate if someone couldn’t show up, as other places do. It’s nice and rustic inside with brick walls, classy as well and pretty open with a decent amount of tables. We could hear ourselves talk which was great. Music was good upbeat pop music and not too loud and not too soft. Staff were really nice, they checked on us enough but also gave us plenty of time to chat. We arrived 4:30 and didn’t leave until 9. There is no other place that lets you stay that long. It was so chill. Happy hour until 5 was good. $4 off drinks and 50% off pizzas. And then from 6-10 it was 50% off martinis. With the deal the pizzas were about $15 each which was a good price and what it really should be normally. The pizza is crispy with lots of cheese, the dough is buttery and the sauce is sweet. The margarita didn’t have that much flavor. My fav was the campana that had the burrata on it. I also like the one with eggplant and broccoli rabe. The desserts were very good and affordable at $10 each. The marscapone cheesecake was super creamy and not too sweet. Also the fruit dessert was good, it was a lot of berries in a bowl that tasted sugar crystallized with lemon and whipped cream on the side. Very light but satisfying. That was probably my favorite dessert. we got the chocolate cake which takes 20 min to make. It was rich and very chocolatey, tasted like a cross between a soufflé and a lava cake. I def recommend this place for groups of friends or coworkers.

I want to note our waitress was lovely and very friendly. Our grilled artichoke app was flavorful and delicious, but nearly everything else was a disappointment. It took an unimaginably long time to get our mains. In fact, after finishing our artichoke app, a man walked in, sat at the bar, eventually ordered and ate nearly his entire meal before we got our mains (a simple pasta and a pizza). There were maybe five other tables in the entire restaurant. As if this wasn't bad enough, the pizza was not good--at all. It was the melanzana and purported to have pesto, but this one had not a drop. It really needed it, too, for the balance, but when I was well into my second slice I realized it was completely missing. (There was no way I was going to ask for a new one considering it took 45+ minutes to get it fired the first time.) Maybe worse still, there was WAY too much cheese on it. It was basically a pile of cheese with a couple of eggplant cubes and a dusting of broccolini specks. And because the kitchen eventually realized how long we were waiting for our food, they clearly rushed to get the pizza out and undercooked it. The crust had no color whatsoever. Additionally, toward the end of the meal, we had no water and even though there were almost as many staff walking around as guests in the dining room, nobody checked on us or offered to bring us more. Overally, there is no reason this shouldn't have been a great meal and a great restaurant, but unfortunately we experienced the exact opposite.

We dine here often as Della Terra is our neighborhood favorite Italian restaurant and one of our all-time favorite Italian restaurants. Everything on the menu is wonderful. Last night we ordered the salmon which was perfect and the bolognese which absolutely never disappoints. It is simply one of the best bolognese recipes in LA.

The osso bucco with the risotto was worth it. Try the barollo at their price was a steal.

We went for pizzas and they were delicious. Though the wait staff was plentiful and the restaurant was not overly crowded, our server was inattentive at best. It ruins the experience when that’s the case. I will give it another chance because the food was good. But it wad disappointing to watch as the tables to our left and right got good service and we were ignored. Even after I asked for someone to take our order. There was no concern for the disappointing service or the disinterested server.
