I don’t know that I’ve had a poorly prepared steak from DC Prime. The kitchen always seems to hit it out the park. Great steaks and great preparation! You ask for medium rare, that’s exactly what you get. Strange that many steakhouses are so inconsistent with that basic order. None the less, great service and Rick and Glenn always checking to make sure things are going well. Great Birthday night and DC prime doesn’t disappoint.

outstanding service and food as usual. They treat you like family. By far the best restaurant in Loudon county and in Virginia for that matter.

Although we all enjoyed the food and the service was good, we will not be going back. We got seated next to this huge HVAC fan in their enclosed patio room instead of the main dining room. When I asked if we could sit in the main dining room, the guy told us our other option was to sit outside. It was noisy in there and you could hear loud music from outside. The ambiance was the complete opposite of what I had anticipated when I booked this restaurant to celebrate a birthday dinner.

First time eating there. The service was great. The rolls were super. The chopped salad was tasty and fresh. I had a ribeye that was cooked perfectly however I found it to be much tougher than ribeyes at other steak restaurants. It was flavorful but tough. The au gratin were probably the best I have ever had. Carrot cake for dessert was good but not exceptional. One beef that I have is when a restaurant markedly up charges for wine. The wine I ordered was the wine I drink regularly. It is $13.99 a bottle and they charged $15 per glass or $60 per bottle. Most restaurants up charge wine at 2-3 normal cost. 4+ times the price seems greedy

We recently had an exceptional dining experience at DC Prime, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly balanced elegance and comfort. The decor is sophisticated, with rich wood tones and ambient lighting that sets the stage for a memorable meal. The service was outstanding—our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and made sure that every detail of our dining experience was perfect. They offered great recommendations, both for the evening’s special cuts of steak and for the wine pairings that would complement our meal. Speaking of the food, it was absolutely top-notch. We started with the oysters, which were incredibly fresh and brimming with flavor. For the main course, we opted for the dry-aged ribeye and the filet mignon. Both were cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and bursting with that rich, beefy flavor that only a well-prepared steak can deliver. The sides, particularly the truffle mac and cheese and the garlic mashed potatoes, were the perfect accompaniments—rich, indulgent, and delicious. To finish off the meal, we shared the flourless chocolate cake, which was the perfect sweet ending to a savory feast. It was decadent without being overly rich, and it was clear that a lot of thought and care went into its preparation. Overall, our dinner at DC Prime was fantastic, and it’s easy to see why this place is so highly regarded. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want to enjoy a superb meal, DC Prime is definitely worth the visit. We left thoroughly satisfied and looking forward to our next visit!

The first two wines I selected we’re not available. The restaurant ran out of bread, despite our reservation being 730 on a Saturday. The calamari was completely overcooked and chewy. Not really the birthday dinner we were looking forward to.
