Excellent food and service. Cocktails were best we'd had in a long while and our server went above and beyond to make sure our food was made to avoid our various food allergies. We highly recommend!

Amazing as always! One of our go to spots! We enjoyed some of their weekend specials and they did not disappoint. We can’t wait to go back.

Brought nephew to recognize him for starting his college education @ Marian University. We enjoyed the food we ordered especially the firecracker shrimp starter. We didn’t realize the restaurant closed at 8 pm or we could have wrapped up sooner. A special note to the staff for tracking our party down through Open Table. I had left my phone at the restaurant. I was able to return for the phone b4 staff left after close down. Thanks a million!!

Steaks were prepared exactly as ordered and were very tender and favorable. Bar tender was very busy but attentive to our needs. Great place.

This was our first time there but have heard good things about it for years. We were not disappointed. Our server was great, friendly and knowledgeable. Our food was delicious. My husband got the tenderloin sandwich and said it was one of the best he has ever had, I got the half rack ribs and shrimp. Both were delicious. I really liked the french fries and cole slaw and thought the portions were just right. It was a little noisy but it was a Saturday night so to be expected. We definitely will go back again even though it is on the opposite side of town from where we live.

A group of 10 met for lunch to conduct a meeting. We were in the private room along with another large group who were very 'energetic'. We recognized that they were having a reunion of sorts & a great time. We were able to conduct our meeting as quietly as possible. Dawson's is a great place to meet & eat. For over a year, we have held almost monthly meetings there, each time with wonderful service & great food. I have tried many different dishes & enjoyed them all. My favorite is the choose two with the potato soup which is thick, rich & delicious. The chicken salad croissant is wonderful too & because the soup is so filling, I almost always bring home the croissant. Service is amazing, always friendly & helpful. Growing up in Speedway it is a thrill to come home again to Main St & enjoy this great restaurant.

Food wise this was the best meal I’ve had at Dawsons in quite some time. I was a bit fearful that it was going downhill, but other than bland vegetables my meal was great. Our server I think was having an off day. We seemed to be kind of a nuisance and he was just very robotic. No “you’re welcome” or smiles really. He wasn’t rude, but just not having a great day. Next time will be better I’m sure!
