David’s Opus Ten is open during each season for limited and exclusive pop-up events, celebrating seasonal products as they become available. Look forward to David’s Opus Ten Test Kitchen events, Maine Restaurant Week (March), and Portland Wine Week (June). Go to our events page to see what’s coming up.
This intimate restaurant within a restaurant is like nothing else in Portland.
Chef David is in the Opus kitchen himself to prepare this hyper-local menu. Cocktails and a surprise hors d'oeuvres promptly at 6:00 PM, followed by seven set courses with optional wine pairings or a mocktail option.
Reservations are strongly recommend as seating is limited to 18 guests and it sells out very quickly.
Opus Ten is also available year round for special events, private dinners, and parties.

It doesn't get any better than David's Opus Ten. Food, ambiance, service always excellent. Wish it was open every night.

David Turin is a culinary genius and as his guests, our meal was nothing short of a masterpiece! Each course was artfully presented and treasures for the palate. The service was impeccable. We couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience.

Generous hospitality best describes our experience from the moment we entered the restaurant. The tasting menu reflects this same generosity, with each bite exploding with layers of flavor and a cohesive meal across seven courses. I was surprised and delighted by the creativity and respect for ingredients, along with the attention to detail. Oftentimes, this level of quality in a restaurant comes with pretense, but I'd describe David's as the opposite of arrogance. Opus Ten is fine dining at the highest level, with sincerity and humility, and I'm grateful for the experience.

David Turin is our favorite Portland, Maine chef, and our 7-course French wine dinner at Opus Ten was an amazing experience, as always. Ashley, our server, was knowledgeable and charming. Everyone had a wonderful time and the pacing of the courses was perfect. We have consistently delicious meals at all of David’s restaurants and they are a go-to when hosting guests from away.
