    Join us at the Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro to enjoy a pre-fix, coursed menu that you won't want to miss. Executive Chef Carter and Culinary Team will be preparing a Special handcrafted menu to bring you joy, while ringing in the New Year with your friends and family. There will be an optional tableside Wine Pairing available that will be sure to pair with our fixed menu. We can't wait to celebrate New Year’s Eve with you! *We are requiring all parties to add a CC on file to reserve a table for this special experience, which is what the $1.00 charge is, to get the table reserved.                                               Quite an enjoyable evening and the two birthday celebrants were given complimentary champagne and truffles. Our sever was delightful and the food was excellent. The only area needing improvement is signage. When we left it was dark and raining and it was difficult to find the way out of the complex.

                                              We had the best dining experience anyone could have celebrating our 50th anniversary. Impeccable service provided by Aileen and a truly outstanding meal consisting of Butternut squash soup, Charred Caesar salad, Pear glazed chicken, Sweet tea brined pork chop along with an excellent pear cake dessert.

                                              Chef tries too hard with too many flavors mixed together. Subtlety is lacking. First night we were there we had good attentive waiter. Second night the waitress forgot she had our table so we had to ask for service. She also forgot to bring the second glass of wine.

                                              Dancing Bear Bistro is now my favorite restaurant! My husband and I sat outside with our dog and had a delicious dinner of grilled Caesar salad, the pork chop and filet. We agreed the pork chop was better, juicier and the sauce so yummy. The atmosphere was magical, great music play list and all our food was a 10!

                                              This is for dinners on 9/11/24 and 9/12/24. Wonderful meals cooked and presented perfectly, served by friendly and knowledgeable staff, and backed by a good wine list in a quiet romantic ambience. We really appreciated the continental pace of service which gave us time to talk and enjoy our wine. A couple of special requests were flawlessly taken care of. I won’t bore you with details of our orders except to say that a platter of those amazing mussels and a bottle of Sancerre is like a preview of heaven. Thank you for two wonderful evenings, we can’t wait to come back. PS - These were our fourth and fifth meals with y’all. One of the things we love about dining there is hearing and seeing other guests enjoying their meals. We’ve seen lots of joyful special occasions celebrated in your dining room. It enhances our experience every time.

The rustic feel adds to the off the charts service and food/beverage selection. If you are looking to impress this is the spot. Food selections are always perfect, as are the wines, bar, and deserts.
