Au DaiLo, bien manger, c’est bien vivre ! Et ici, la manière de cuisiner reflète clairement la manière d’envisager la vie. Les ingrédients, de grande qualité et minutieusement sélectionnés, mènent à de délicieux repas, et finalement, à de meilleures existences. La nouvelle cuisine asiatique que propose le restaurant se concentre essentiellement sur les produits chinois, tout en suivant la tradition française. Au cœur du menu, vous ressentirez un respect et un amour profonds pour la nourriture, portés par le chef Nick Liu. Ses ancêtres ont dégusté avant lui les recettes avec lesquelles il travaille, pendant des centaines d’années. Les anciens plats de prédilection de cette époque là ont été revisités par le chef Liu, qui y a ajouté sa petite touche personnelle. Ils ont été adaptés à la demande moderne, qui souhaite souvent se nourrir à base d’ingrédients locaux, produits dans le respect d’une agriculture durable.

De la cuisine à l'ambiance, DaiLo est un lieu audacieux et animé. Le chef et propriétaire Nick Liu mélange les techniques culinaires françaises avec son héritage chinois pour créer des plats amusants tout en mettant en valeur ses talents culinaires. Cet espace branché attire une foule animée pour des soirées qui commencent par un dîner au DaiLo et se terminent au Lopan, le bar à cocktails situé à l'étage.

The hype meets the experience. We did the premium tasting menu and it was delicious!! Our favourite was the eggplant, dumplings and steak. The dessert sorbet was amazing too. The Tom Yum cocktail is good!!

My girlfriend and I went for the tasting menu. It was delicious, and included 6 courses that were super flavourful and extremely well presented. The service was great with complimentary sparkling water and attentive service. Will be going back to try some of what the the A-La-Carte menu has to offer that wasn’t in the 6 courses of the tasting menu.

We loved the tasting menu, all the items were unique and flavours were amazing. However our experience felt rushed. I had made our reservation a month in advance for our anniversary , a week prior the restaurant confirmed our reservation. When we arrived our hostess was asked to change our original table and we were taken upstairs and only told after we were seated that we would have our table for 2 hours given a private event taking place - this was more than a buzzkill . Our servers Tom and Shannon were amazing, personable and thoughtful, they did their best to accommodate the tight seating time while serving the tasting menu. We would’ve enjoyed taking a bit more time through each of the courses and spending our evening at a leisurely pace. As we were leaving the main dining room had clearly emptied out and there was ample room to accommodate two guests - again leaving us feeling a bit off, disappointed. Overall our servers were great and food was fantastic, probably one of the best meals we’ve had in Toronto.

This was our second time at DaiLo. Everything was delicious and fabulous. They made personalized food from the menu because of our dietary restrictions, were so attentive, we couldn’t fault it. They also added a few complimentary items which were scrumptious. I look forward to going back again and again. Definitely 5 ⭐️s

Dailo never disappoints , the food and level of service is unbelievable . Big thank you to Olivia our server who was the most attentive and knowledgeable , she offered desert which was so sweet . Trevor was also amazing to chat with, a real gentleman . Dailo is a true hidden gem of Toronto . Well done as always Brigitte

Thank you for a wonderful evening. Food and drinks were great- service was attentive but not overbearing. Clearly a room full of professionals.

Had the premium tasting menu with premium wine pairing and a cocktail pairing. Overall the food was phenomenal and the amount of food you get far surpasses other tasting menus around the same price point. Service was 10/10 - both incredibly professional and accommodating while making you feel very comfortable and at ease. Can be pricey but well worth the experience IMO and would 100% recommend.

Dailo is a true multi sensorial experience. Jeff, Kevin and the rest of the staff made the night feel a cut above the rest. Nick’s dishes were incredible, and the adjustments they made for my vegetarian friend were fantastic. I’ll definitely be back with friends!
